Both my feet hurt terribly now and my back and knees are aching. The reason for this self-made suffering is...... football.
I finally pick up a chance to play some football again after a hiatus of problem half a year or more. As most people have commented about my rounder stomach, this invariably means that my sporting prowess has fallen to greaten depths. It was pretty proven this morning with me struggling to run after my fellow players and of course the fast moving ball. Sigh. I probably need to get back to some exercising lest I become worst off again. But my feet hurt (because somehow my prized Addidas street soccer boots don't fit again and left blisters/corn on my soles) and I got myself sunburnt as well.... lol. What a weekend to have.
Other than that, I kinda forgotten what I wanted to write so I guess I just leave it as it is.
Muahahahahahahahahahahaha... (going delirious)

Today (actually these few days) I asked myself while walking on the road mindlessly 3 questions:
a. Among my friends, who is still writing a blog these days?
b. Given a choice, will I get married and settle down or go roam the world one day?
c. Does doing good things give you a better life?
The funny part about the first question is that since I left the laptop in the shop, have I not been reading anyone's blog since. Even my favourite writer (one of you) I also have not read for months (or years?). So if you are writing still, it's so cool!
The second question I asked myself while walking mindlessly so my first reaction would be the 2nd option since it's so "carefree". The point about being carefree is really the idea of not having to worry about anything but that's not true! I had travel before and all of the time I worry so much about not having enough money (or the right currency), I worry about getting lost, and I worry about my things at home (my business mostly). So when will be the day I can really go carefree? It's still a far far vision away which I have no answer for currently... but if you ask me about the first option... hahaha, I mean I do get jealous when I see couples holding hands, hugging one another, or smiling and chatting with one another so happily while I'm always doing all sorts of stupid things alone like delivering goods... so maybe you can call it sour grapes. Lol.
The third question popped out when I compare myself to some of the people I know. I mean I don't do alot of good things either but I seem to be in a pretty good spirit most of the time (except when I get reminded of the second question but eww..) My belief is that when you do good things, you will be rewarded but you will not be rewarded if you do good things out of the sake for being rewarded. Alot people do good things for all sorts of reasons apart from thinking that it's just for the good of it. For example, I will give up my seat to the elderly but not because I feel like giving up to the person but because I don't want to be stared at for not giving up the seat (by the way, I never sit on reserve seat on the train). Likewise I donate coins to the student collecting donations not because I feel it's good to do so but more like I have been through the stupidity of it and I pity the student (hahaha). Whichever the case, the only times when I have really did good things for the sake of feeling good is when I provided directions to the people who need them... Yeah, whether it's real directions or life directions... I feel obliged for the good sake of the person, which is not due to social stigma or empathy or anything else. I just feel like doing so.
One day, if I get new answers to the 3 questions, I will write again and it will be fun comparing them to now!

Recently many people have asked to "Twitter" on my website to update news about my business. While I'm not totally ignorant about this new web service, I'm already quite a dormant user on Facebook and the once-popular Friendster. So if you ask me to join another "social networking website", definitely it will take some big pondering and egging.
I'm still very interested in the twittering though because I do have limited time on the computer. At work, my staff Rachel (notice I didn't just put "At work, Rachel...) gets on my laptop and runs the show from there. My job scope is more of a salesperson, a purchaser and then a repairman, so there isn't much computer related work to do. At home, I do not personally own a computer so it's really not easy to get to use one, so when I heard that you can SMS to twitter, it sounds really cool!
The troublesome part comes thereafter, so I can post easily, then do I get to monitor the responses easily? Is it better to use the chatbox on my website instead as I can monitor spam, delete inapproriate messages? That's the part I find it "blocking my path" to twitter... and will anyone really read it? Hahaha... that's for time to find out.
Nonetheless, today I found that there's really nothing much to do at my own home except watching tv. Do you find it the same? Or do you get home, do the usual stuff and then just go straight to bed? Most likely the majority of you guys will be on the COMPUTER doing all sorts of stuff like gaming, like MSNing (or twittering, if it's more convenient), or even... watching shows? (AHEM) So ends up we still watch tv but we watch things we want to watch and at our convenience, eg Youtube.
My brother doesn't watch the living room's tv except for live football matches but he does spend a whole lot of time watching streaming tv on the computer. The shows he frequently watches are Taiwanese variety shows (I love them too, but it's just too time consuming to watch tv) and football replays for researching purposes. So if you also watch shows on the computer then maybe the surveys on the number of people watching a particular show should extend to watching the show on another medium.
That brings me to the topic of watching more stuff - now on portable devices. So we have the PSP, the DS, the Dingoo, the Iphone, the Ipod Video, handphones with video playback functions, blah blah blah... we can watch anything we want anywhere! We now can watch more tv even as we move around! So cool right?
So if you are reading this...... do note that you are watching a type of tv as well... a story tv or technically, a tv that shows a story in text and nothing else.
Maybe we ought to have a channel that just shows texts and nothing else... it seems plain fun!
Lol.
