*piakpiak* (from Pikapika)
*OWWWWWww* (me)
I haven't been studying for my exams.. as usual. Wonder what's wrong with me.
Firsts,
Welcome back to Singapore, Jinki! Haha, hope you will enjoy the summer holidays well with your wife and family and with us. Hopefully we can have our next footballing conquest and mahjong competition soon!
Seconds,
No more MODESTOS for me! Last Sat the Rabbit family was there and we ordered some pizzas, soup and lasagna. In all I think only the plain bread that was served was really nice, the rest the taste were too EXOTIC (too much olive oil or too salty..) for me. And Pika's tiramisu!~~ Nice nice, but too bad they did not want to try it because of its presentation. The container holding it was in my bag, which unfortunately was slanted and the resulting tiramisu was a slope. OOpss..
Thirds,
Mass KTV is set on the 16/17 Dec weekend... most probably would be 16 Dec, a Sat. Now trying to form up the list with the room co-ords to hook-up and save my time/effort/money trying to contact everyone. Haha.
Fourths,
My exam ends on Fri, in the evening.. yesterday's SCM paper was unmemorable. To think it was that simple.. sigh. Today's Italian paper should be fine, I guess. Hopefully can pull up my grade with it.. and Fri's HCM.. not too sure how it would be.. sigh.
Fifths,
Hope everyone enjoys the holidays!! Will want to meet all my buddies and friends in the holidays to catch-up man. Mahjong and soccer for the army chaps, a meal with my CHS guys, and probably some soccer with my SMU mates (Leslie!! The ENTIRE TERM DIDN'T SEE YOU!) Lol. SMU life's that weird. School so small but still never see one another.
Lalala. Mad am i, I am mad. Must catch serial is Wo De Ye Man Nai Nai (War with In-Laws), it's just so damn cute a serial! My family must-watch!
Ciaoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Molto fortuno

Going 180deg reverse from the previous post, here i am, writing a much lighter post about my life. hahahahaa.. Hope it helps to perk you up too.
First up, a weird question: Girls, which of you wants to be a homemaker in the near future?(aka 'housewife' previously, seems like we like to upgrade terminologies :x) And to the guys, do you mind staying home to maintain the home and let your wives go out bring the bread home?
Haha, quite an interesting question right? Anyway this came from what I just spent 2hrs for, cleaning the home. I guess cleaning and cooking for 4 persons is really tiring, considering that most people take such work for granted. Do you look forward to going home to eat dinner, or do you groan at having to go home to eat dinner prepared by your mother? My thoughts whirled around and several possible options to settle the problem of WHO should do the house maintenance:
a. Get a professional -- have a maid, employ an occasional housekeeper, or turn professional yourself
b. Share the load -- each to settle own area of influence, and common areas to be rotated
c. Do everything together -- plan some regular timings to do the chores together
Haha, which do you prefer?
For me, I guess sharing the load or employing an occasional housekeeper seem like better choices. The pros and cons of the latter are obvious, so let's ponder upon the former. The pros of sharing the load means you can involve even your children, your elders to maintain their own areas, and that helps to build some sort of independence. This also saves the trouble of having people complaining about the homemaker misplacing things or stuff like that. But there are cons as well, which include family members having different concepts of 'neat and tidy', and different timings available to do the cleaning, which means some parts of the home is not maintained at any time. Ah well, each family has their own problems and that is up to them to solve it.
The next item to talk about is the upcoming holidays. What to do in the holidays!? Some ideas have been thought up and shot down, like going on a tour (too expensive, no budget). Some other ideas seems feasible but nobody can decide anything yet. But one thing I am wanting to have is to organise a mass ktv! Probably on the 2nd weekend of Dec, I hope to get most of my friends down together, book many rooms and yeah, have a good time together. Haha. I am not sure it will end up becoming a SDU session, like after the ktv session, some people start to ask me for contacts... haha, there would be really interesting.
Last one, it's about food and beverage.. some of my latest favourite stuff to eat and drink at home:
a. teh cosong or green tea (which is definitely cosong)
b. seaweed biscuits.. yum!
c. nestum cereal
d. fishballs/yong tau hoo stuff
e. instant noodles
f. chocolate or milo (getting a fix for choco-addiction?)
g. Scotts emulsion.. (to stay childish and healthy)
h. bread with kaya, butter or peanut butter or jam (aka what most of us eat everyday)
Haha, and some stuff to stay clear for the upcoming weeks:
a. school food. YUCK. esp Pick and Bite and my favourite chinesee bao stall
b. McDonalds
c. Pre-package ice cream
d. Soft drinks
And dunno what else... some stuff like char kway teow, satay i only eat once every few months, weird hor. And talking about food, Pika and I had a giant mudpie at Cafe Galilee for $1.90 (with min $12.90 spending). So SINFUL! lol..
Orh, finally to show some photos of me lately =p to scare u off the blog and get back to your work!
Xmas Pooh and me! He looks sha sha meh?
Me after cutting my hair at Chapter 2. Lol.
Ciao e buon fortuna a tutti!

*bitez* grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
a. the home network sux. why? someone steal all my bandwidth, makes my laptop wired (and defeats the purpose of the laptop, which is to be mobile) and reading news, checking email, uploading files to send to my schmates become chores.
b. rafa benitez sux. why? gerrard shud be put in the middle of the field, he started him on the right. where was luis garcia? why did he not teach the strikers to run in front of the defenders, not run in between them, especially kuyt? in all, it's his way of committing suicide at the emirates stadium. I think he is still dreaming in last season, or the last last season. To win you shud attack, not defend, and let 10 speedy guys run circles around you. i can go on and on. why did nobody cross a proper ball to crouch at all? not even corners... it's just so dumb.
c. sch sux. i dunno why it ended that all the work is piled up till the last week of sch. tmr got presentation, tue got presentation, thu got presentation... wonderful.
i'm really fed up now, becos i'm sick and can't sleep well, coughing, nose block, flu...
last one to say, i promise myself a fantastic friday after italian oral test. real fantastic.
