In my mind, there are hundreds of thoughts swirling. I can't put them all down because it would mean hundreds of hours put into it. But I share with you guys a dream I had in the morning.
I dreamt that I was in a shopping centre and assembly just finished so everyone (girls and guys) went to the toilet at lvl 3. A few of us were supposed to be doing "toilet duty" and monitor the situation but we just slacked. As I was standing outside the toilet, I saw a really cute but young girl (secondary school kind) wearing something english countryside frock, so i was like "hahaha". But she just floated/walked past like a spirit..
Then to my dismay I saw a female PE teacher from my former jc (YJC) and I panicked because I thought she was going to scream at us for not doing our duty. Then I just rushed around looking for the others on duty.
I was mistaken about the orientation of the toilets, and opened the girls' toilet by mistake. Shut it immediately and ran to the other side. But I just couldn't find it. Then I just left the place.
After that I was supposed to meet my 7Seas brother Jinki for gym session and I was already 35mins late, while the other brothers were not even here yet. As usual I saluted my brother's patience and he just laughed it off. He then asked if I brought my gym stuff, but interestingly I was dressed in formal and I still told him, yes, when my hands were empty. After that we just went into the stadium-like building, and I was back to the earlier place I described.
This time there was an amusement park inside the shopping mall, and we were to assemble on the grass. As the announcement blared through the air, I lazily stretched my right hand to the side and "squish", my hand was dirtied by SHIT. So I wanted to go find the toilet immediately, but along the way was condemned by everyone who were sitting behind me.
Sadly, I was back in the shopping centre building, but I decided to take the lift to the 5th floor and my left hand just pressed 5. I reached the 5th floor only to find it in darkness, so I opened doors and see what was there, but nothing. I decided to go down another level, but there was no level 4 actually. But somebody whom I didn't bother to see was using a laptop on the stairsway.
Back to the level 3, I was still rushing to find the toilet when I saw the girl earlier chasing me, but now she was dressed like a normal pretty girl you see in Bugis, etc. I just tried as best to hide from her and finally I found the toilet.
I proceeded to wash my hands but as I looked into the mirror, she was there! I was stunned, and probably too shocked and woke up.

I probably haven't got any sleep as well the one this morning for the past week. However, that also meant that the entire week I haven't exercised a wink at all, sigh. The sleep was good because I could even afford to dream about meeting a young boy ghost who needed help to find something. I cannot recall what, or who, but I recall travelling the entire northwest of Singapore (Marsiling, Woodlands) and getting lost there. The fun part was fighting vicious ghosts, in which my first instinct was to run away but I kinda thought that it was a dream or there was no point running, so I turned back and slashed my way to safety. lol. Quite a constrast to the past me in which I would be fleeing for my life as much as I can, or be equipped with useless powers.
Nonetheless, the entire week was quite sadistic for me, because in order to restore my health due to a severe lack of sleep (or sleeping at 4+am), I had to skip some morning classes. I felt that even if I went to those classes, I would be nodding off anyway. But it's such a risky thing because the whole class participation mark thing will just kill me off since at this juncture of the term, professors are very impressionable now. Whatever the case is, I would just continue to work my way through the myriad of projects and cases, and once another 2-3 weeks passes, I would be in safe lands, free of huge worries and heartaches/backaches/chest aches.
Business has been pretty good in terms of responses and enquiries, but for me, if there was a customer satisfaction survey, I probably would rank bottom. It's just so many details to look out for, and that I'm not really a detail person. Given that little resources, I guess I would just work hard at it and see if it can grow into anything.
I took a break during the weekend and enjoyed the long, crazy gathering at TCC on Friday evening (in which I got molested by some touchy person.. =x) and also the shopping at the jewellery supplies store. I am kinda tempted to learn how to make jewellery, but not as a passion, but more as an extension to my business line. Haha. But I do not have the handi-skills of a craftsman, nor the genuine creativity of a designer, so maybe I should just leave it one side first.
Now that things are looking fast and furious, maybe it's time to step up the engine and do all the best to get as better a result as possible. I hope that all of you friends, who are embroiled in the education war, will also survive through this fight with good results. As for those working, same to you guys, since the end of the year is coming and there is certainly plenty to do before all the fun begins.
May I take the opportunity to wish everyone all the best of health and luck in the next few weeks ahead.
-lotsa love-

But today I had learnt so many things that I decided to choose a song to mark my progress in learning.
I wonder what you guys are doing, but hopefully you aren't having it bad. If you are, we are in the same boat, let's encourage one another!
Finally, may I take the opportunity to wish my 7sea bro Alex a happy birthday~ hahaha!

WOOOOOOO
Making $ and talking about making $ is really 2 different things. Consumers really dig their way through your pockets, that I really not sure what the hell I'm really doing with my new gameshop venture.. There's so much to learn within a short period of time.
Hopefully there will be some expert who will be able to teach me... Yesterday a friend whom I knew from a 1mth holiday job at the airport taught me tons of stuff. I really thank him from the bottom of my heart.
Oh well...
And I'm in this bloody SMU library typing this now. Super wasted after digging so much information on stock exchanges, gaming and library stuff.
See you guys around soon! Talk to me when you are free, ok?

Ah Jeff is a tired soul today.
Ah Jeff went to bed last night around 1am, and woke up at 5am to do data entry. He received a shocking email but had to chuck it aside because work was more important. He was very tired but since he had to leave home around 9am for a meeting at 10am in school, he decided to stay up for breakfast after finishing around 730am. After he finished his breakfast and the newspaper, he fell asleep unknowingly on the sofa. He walked sluggishly to his bed and looked at his sleeping dous and fell asleep snugged with the cute dous.
He then had a nightmare about his groupmate and meeting a Professor, and woke up at 930am. By then he was quite late so he rushed for a quick bath and then packed up and rushed to school. However, it was more important that he visit his Professor for the BSM to Taiwan to pass the cheque, so he only reached the 10am meeting at 1030am.
The meeting lasted till 105pm and was quite constructive. Ah Jeff had another meeting to go to, so he walked back to the School of Business. He had another somehow constructive meeting which finished earlier than expected at 230pm. So he went on for the next meeting at Starbucks @ The Cathay. He ordered a Grande Vanilla Latte (substituted by soy milk instead of milk) but was very regretful because the drink sucked. There was no vanilla taste! The drink diluted so much within the short 1.5hrs there that it tasted so cheapskate. The meeting however was very progressive and the members all walked back to school together.
Then again, Ah Jeff had another meeting at the library. The demands for this meeting was extremely high because the data collection was a big challenge. His groupmate was frustrated, likewise for Ah Jeff, because he had to dig through 120pages of regulations to sieve out basic regulations for listing on the 4 stock exchanges, namely SGX, HKEX, TSEC, and SSE. Do you know what do these acroynms stand for? These are 4 big stock exchanges of Asia excluding the super big Tokyo bourse.
The meeting lasted from 4+pm to 8pm, which by then, Ah Jeff's groupmates had left with some hope and some other frustrations with their data mining. The software used did not provided the required results as best as they wanted them to be. Ah Jeff was very lucky to meet another old friend in the name of Dominic. They gossiped while Ah Jeff typed a resignation letter which he wasn't sure to hand in or not. Since it was on the way, both of them walked to the train station and took the northbound train.
Bidding each other goodbye, Ah Jeff proceeded to his workplace to confound his biggest fears. Unfortunately, even though he managed to raise some issues about the shocking email he received in the morning, there was no concrete resolution due to the absence of the sender of the email.
After the debacle, Ah Jeff remembered that he had yet to sit down and eat a proper meal since his breakfast in the morning, so he decided to eat at the nearby Kopithiam so as to put his discount card to use. Unfortunately, he was too distraught to decide on a tasty meal while his usual stall, the Korean stall, was teeming with a queue. He then finally ordered a "lo mai kai" (glutinous rice with chicken), finished it with disgust and went to the ShopNSave on the side to get a drink.
His final memory of the day after reaching home was writing this....
*ANSWERS* SGX: Singapore Exchange HKEX: Hong Kong Exchange TSEC: Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation SSE: Shanghai Stock Exchange
Did you get it right?

Actually I don't have much to write today.
Maybe I shall just do some product reviews of the stuff I bought recently:
a. NTUC Green Tea Soy Milk This product sucks totally. Might as well I make my own green tea and mix with soy milk? Better Alternative Product: Pure water.
b. Oregon Potato Chips by Farmland This product rocks! Wasabi taste is pretty unique among the choices of chips here. Not too heavily flavoured too. Now there's a promotion at NTUC, discounted price at $2.90 and comes with a free mini pack and postcard! What more do you want? Better Alternative Product: Jack and Jill Chilli Flavour Chips 180g for $2.20 only!
c. Haba Powder Facial Wash This product rocks! Gentle on the skin yet cleans well. =) Better Alternative Product: None to my knowledge.
Hmm, actually the main idea here I want to transmit is that that green tea soy milk sucks. I thought they would be able to come out with a special oombination of 2 of my favourite drinks, but nah... failed terribly.
Before I go, I was humming some songs while walking and here's the lyrics I created on the spot:
Then it occurred to me, why do we look for something else when we already have that we want? Do we always want surprises, something new in life? Why can't we stick to the good thing that we already have? This is so so so true in many relationships... sigh.

WOo,
I survived through the week with little damage to my brain because I did not really manage to cram enough for the quizzes due to a lack of time. That also meant I'm pretty much doomed, but due to a few twists, I think I may pull through:
a. The Intelligent Organisations (IO) quiz was not counted towards the grade but would be considered if your final score was stuck mid-grade.
b. Professor forgot to delete the answers for the short answer questions inside the question paper for Negotiation Skills for Business and had to discount them. My MCQ was pretty well done!
Then again, my participation points for the New Product Development course seems to be falling by chunks as I wasn't able to contribute much during the case discussion. SIGH.
Overall, the 7th week of school marks the mid-way of the school term. Looking back, I think I'm still pretty well placed to score better than last term for all my modules despite this term having more modules than any other term. Haha. Hopefully I am right.
Since today was the last day of the week, I managed to grab some time to cut my hair. I originally wanted to go to the salon recommended by Ice Queen, but because of bad timing on my side, I couldn't get her information on time and ended up somewhere else. So here after I bathed, I took a foto:
Yeah, looks fine to me. =) I am not particularly good-looking anyway.
Anyway, I also want to share some photos of my dous.... they are so cuteeee
And finally, here's an amazing table tennis clip... when will I be at least 10% of that level?!

The weather is getting so hot these days that I tend to fall asleep (as usual) in air-conditioned classes. Hahaha.
The impetus to write this post today mainly is to wish my good friend joycezie good health always after the shock of the day I got in class -- she was hospitalised! A few days ago we were chatting on MSN and I was like, shoo-ing her to see the doctor as she complained pain in her abdomen. So you see, health is of utmost priority because without health, you can't do anything else much. Like, she had to miss some important events in this week, which would cumulate into other inconveniences later.. so the best I can do here is to wish her all the best... it's been so many years since we first did that interesting Financial Accounting project about Pfizer and here we are looking at graduation together... ooh.
Yes, I believe that it takes really really plenty of fate and effort to catch a good friend and keep that friend as a good friend. Plenty of fate as I had mentioned, the butterfly effect may result in extremely different lives even though initial conditions could be just slightly different. And that effort, effort means not just to wait there for your friend to tell you something. Go ahead, and make that effort.
However, while I would like to stay in close contact with a whole lot of people, I cannot because not everyone thinks that way, you see. Some people can only step into your circle for awhile and then they would leave because of differences in interests and goals and a whole lot of other reasons. I have like 250+ people on MSN but I probably talk to 60+ of them occasionally and another 100 when the chance arises (like there is a nick worth asking about). The people whom I feel comfortable to talk about anything under the sun only drops down to less than 6. So, while quantity is useful to get your connections and network, quality still wins over in relationships.
So to tie in with this theme, I actually selected Sun Ho's song, Smile of Spring 春天的微笑. It's about someone decided to forget the past and start afresh in spring. I don't particularly like Sun Ho, since I had mentioned, I don't really like any particular singer, I like particular songs. Just like my football interests, I don't like any particular club, but I like the players (so whichever club has the most number of players I like, is my favourite club).
Maybe such a thinking is extendable to the idea of friends: I don't particularly like any of you, but I like your personality, traits and character. The more traits I like, the more preferred you become to me..
WHICH IS NOT TRUE!
Songs come and go, players join and leave but a leopard never changes its spots, so I will have to like the entire contents of the package before I like the package. So even if my friends have certain traits which I feel not comfortable with, I would still call that person my friend because it's part of the entire person I am dealing with.
Lastly, I have 3 mid-term quizzes and one presentation tomorrow (Wed)!!! Sheehz.
OH, before I go, some great tips I learnt from my World Travel and Tourism class today:
a. budget airlines are not necessary cheaper b. they are cheaper only if you book really really early c. online travel agents usually offer better prices and services than traditional brick and mortar agents d. c is only true if you are travelling in a small group or as a FIT (free independent traveller)
Next week is term break.... but I guess the best travel experience I can get is to go Vivocity and see Sentosa Island. LOL.

Today I shall write with good grammar.
It was a traumatic experience today at my job.
A very free old man asked me to find some weird books on the internet catalogue for about half an hour! The scary part was not the length but the conversation he was trying to strike up. I have a hunch he's trying to get someone to discuss with him the current global situation as he is very well read and most likely his age group he won't be able to find someone as well read as him (unless he goes to the universities and talk to the professors). I just had to concur with him like:
"Not all Singaporeans girls are that bad right? Not everyone is after the 5Cs" "Yeah..." "Do you have a girlfriend?" "No..." "How old are you?" "24" "Never mind, you are still young. Earn money more important."
"Do you think the current Bush regime is similar to the Rome sovereignity?" "I guess so..."
And blah blah blah....
The other guy is an Indian national. He sure has lotsa hand actions when he speak, with a little whiny voice.
"I don't know how to register on the computer? Can you help?" "Sure. No problem."
dak, dak, dak..
-At the E-Kiosk-
After keying in some of his details... "What is your name?" "Jeff" "Jack?" -proceeds to choose his userid as "jack" "My name is Jeff. Why don't you use your own name so that it is easier to remember?" -types jeff but decided to change his mind and types "jesusisxxxxx" "Choose your password please" -on to the next screen"
dak, dak, dak...
When he was all done, I asked him to proceed to top up his prepaid account so that he can then go up and use the internet to surf.
"How long would you want to use the internet? The rate is 3cents per minute" "What time does your library close?" "Everyday 9pm" -looks at clock above- "Oh, that means I can still use for 45minutes" "Then maybe you should top up $2 so that you have an hour usage available"
Then I press $2 for him and prompts him to use his ez-link card, but before I can do so, he GRABS MY HAND and says "No! I just want to top up $1"
-_-|| and guess what? his passoword "maryisxxxxx" (last letter missing because not enough space)
10minutes later...
While I was serving the abovementioned old man, he came down and screamed with his whiny voice:
"I tried 20times but I still cannot log in! Can you come and help me?" "Sorry, do you mind waiting for a while as I am serving this customer?"
-he waits patiently for about 2-3minutes and stares at me intently-
I then decided to tell him that this:
"I think you shouldn't key in the last letter for your password" (I noticed it when he was keying it in that there was no space to key in the last letter which was 't'). He doesn't understand, but I repeat again. Then without any better alternatives, he went up again to try.
I didn't see him anymore. =)
Interesting, right? But, WAH LAO EH, don't grab my hand la! eeeks... if it was a girl then I won't mind la =p hahaha.

seriously, i know this is not the right time to blog. but i think it's better that i get this over and done with before i embark on another late night of work.
it's deja vu again for me as i ponder another resignation. i seriously think that the management of this organisation acroynmed NLB is extremely naive and off the ground. not only that, i also think that the job no longer offers any learning opportunity because the attitude from the management that it is a "temp" job. i think they should open their eyes and see that my appointment letter says that my job is "Part-Time Assistant Library Officer".
anyway, if any of you lives near toa payoh, wants a permanent part-time job that offers $7.50 on weekends, contact me. i am willing to give up my place to you because there are tons of other things i ought to do rather than to be patient to people who are screaming at me because they "don't think they borrowed the books and therefore shouldn't be liable for the 15cent fine". anyway the successor won't have to deal with those since the debacle will be over these few weeks, plus there will be updated policies that make your job easier and friendlier.
apart from describing some perils from my job, today the library network went down and the library was probably 90% disabled as many of the checking, billing, updating functions were unusable. some patron said that the library doesn't have a contingency plan. he was absolutely right, the best the management could do was to give 2 instructions:
a. stop all billing and updating transactions b. issue manual loans
and this had to happen in the midst of the mass fine debacle that i think virtually that 2hrs i were most engaged in
a. trying to explain that our network is down, we cannot do anything b. trying to say sorry for something that is not my fault.
