This post is about $$$$.
I know that many of us are unaffected by the current turmoil in financial systems worldwide. The truth is that we have our jobs safe and sound, and life still goes on since we probably do not own the millions (paper or real) that have vanished suddenly. We still take the crowded buses, trains and at times, fight for that increasingly expensive taxi rides.
But my mother, my dear mother, ran up some really impressive sums these few days:
1. Some stunner sent a lawyer's letter to my Dad's business asking for $4k+ in motor claims for a little knock on the bumper of his/her car (my mother was driving the van at that time and had waited for the owner to appear but to no avail)
2. Some other stunner made her a $1200 spectacle (not counting the $900+ one that was scratched someday ago at the workshop).
OMG!
I went Ikea and counted my sums for the furnishing of my club:
a. 3 seater sofa set $499
b. Worktop and 4 bar stools $369
c. 6 foldable chairs $60
d. 3 shelving units $87
e. 1 glass display cabinet $139
f. 2 bookcases $118
g. 1 tv shelf $99
h. 1 coffee table $49
Total weight > 200kg and yet only cost slightly more than a freaking pair of spectacles!!
OMG.

I think I'm kinda a slow blogger, it's nearly 5 years or 1825days since the conception of the blog but I just barely posted 1/5 of that period. Lol.
Today's just a short sharing session on my life recently and therefore it wouldn't be too lengthy as well.
Red Sands Gamers Club
The Club, by hook or crook, has gotta be up soon because everyday I delay means a loss of the day's rent. Nonetheless, progress is up as we are now into the furnishing stage of the place. Ikea still stands as the main choice to buy nearly everything. But fixing the stuff seems daunting, yet it is the best cost saving way. Probably I will opt for them to fix the stuff for me though.
Personal Life
I recently watched the movie House Bunny, and it's like wooah. You get to watch loads of babes (and weirdoes, in the middle part of the movie) and of course it has a great storyline as well. I find that it's quite educational for girls and hot-girls wannabe (lol). Shed a tear or two for the movie too. (aww)
Oh, and last Sat the rabbits went to eat at Liang Court, at a Okinawa styled Japanese restaurant. The food was marvelicious! The ultra fattening pork belly was ultra delicious and the ramen (although I didn't eat it, just tried it) was so different from the miso-laced ramen we usually get outside! I had a grilled fish and rice. And to top it off, the Awamori drinks (some mild alcoholic mixes with fruit juice) were fantastic as well. Do try the calamansi (lime, if i spelt it wrongly) one. It's really refreshing. After that we went to walk around Mediya and bought green tea ice-cream in cups, sat by the river and licked the cups clean (we had no spoons). Haha. And then some genius thought of going to have drinks at our favourite hangout TCC... ermmmm and took it even further by suggesting to eat wasabi fries as McDonalds. PENGZ. An overloaded day lo!
I guess that's all I like to share for today.... gotta run out!
Cheers
