Today's Italian oral test was a 'tragedia'! It's worst off than my Japanese oral tests when I took them. I can't even understand some of the questions the professoressa asked. Sobs. Anyway I guess it's time I practise by watching more Italian shows and stuff. Stupid Starhub for no longer showing Serie A!! Otherwise it would be one of the best lesson tools to use. Grr.. luckily Prof Francesca (my professoressa who is authentic Italian) gave us some links to go take a look. Buck up buck up! Anyway both Italian and Retail Management (RM) mid-terms are over. Obviously I only have confidence in the latter...
Next thing to lament is the number of meetings scheduled across the span of 5 days. Tomorrow there are 2, next Monday another 1, next Tuesday another 2 long ones and next Wednesday another one in the morning and god knows what else. Next week is actually a holiday week! Now I think the best week during the term is week 14, the study week! No homework, projects or whatever buggy stuff. Just enjoy your own studying at your own pace, at your favourite venues and whatsoever... hur.
One fine day during the week, the canteen Chinese snack stallowner (which sells pau, a limited assortment of dim sum and their everyday sold-out nasi lemak), a lady (who seems to be a foreigner) asked me if our undergraduates were very good at studying and that's why they were in university. (it was asked in Chinese) I replied a straight 'no'! Why? I think some of us are not good at studying but were in the university due to sheer luck or perhaps just pure intelligence. I took her question quite literally, of course. Moreover she was asking one of the lousiest student in the school! A biased answer, eh?
Oh, and on my rest day, nearing midnight (or was it already past 12am?), my dear 7sea brother Jinki dialled my handphone all the way from 4 hours away in Perth. On first thought I was wonder why was there a foreign number dialling me but I roughly recalled +61 meant Australia though I wondered who in Australia would call me at such an eerie hour. Haha. Anyway Jinki as usual does things in a carefree manner but against the great o me, he still had to put the phone down after a very short conversation. Sorry brother! Maybe you will prefer talking to Kevin instead who is more listening and chatty? =p MSN me la, save your phone bills (and mine, lol)
Finally, let me express my surprised thanks to Yingzie who posted me a really belated birthday present! In return I have a good mind to post an early bird-day present (and save on one more Xmas pressie =p) molto grazie Yingzie~
Now back to the project drawing board....
Lazy body but hardworking mind.. lol~
