Yay!
The exams are over. Although I didn't study much for the exams, like 5-6 hrs for FA, 4-5 hrs for Stats and 2-3 hrs for Econs, I think I have exceeded my expectations (maybe not so for Econs). I hope to get Bs so that it won't seem that I am a lousy student compared to my peers who worked very hard for their As and Bs. I didn't work very hard but I tried to make myself contributing to the projects and such..Thinking back, there are many things I will like to improve on for the next term. I think the most important thing to improve on is to be more sociable and try to be more talkative to the people I really want to talk to. I do think some people shun from me either because they themselves are shy or maybe I am too weird for their tastes. Nevertheless, the term was well spent as I have learnt many things not from the textbooks and courses. I also appreciate that there are people with very different lifestyles and beliefs as mine, so maybe I should learn to tell them like that and not tell them that I have other better things to do... there is always a plus and minus side to every activity we engage in. hee.
So Jinki is back and we had an enjoyable weekend. Went to the nature reserve with his family, enjoyed a great day at SITEX, had a superb soccer game with the 7seas brothers yesterday and Jinki and Kevin stayed over at my home. It's really quite surprising to have people staying over because my place is so small... I hope to move to the new home soon (where I will be having a smaller room) but it will be to my decor and taste and I can make sure my guests are well accomodated. Heh. Too bad we didn't get enough khakis for mahjong. Oh to mention the soccer game, we won 3 KO matches and lost one only spending the most time on the hockey court in NTU despite a wet ground, broken shoes and injured legs (Alex, Jinki, and me were all having niggling injuries).. Junhao was the best keeper I have ever seen, making all the important saves for us(you know if u concede one goal it's game over cos it's KO match). Jinki, me, my brother all scored.. haha. My father also played with us (a great defender) and threw my mother alone...bwahaha...my family is a family of football maniacs...hahahahaha...
Too bad even with the new model I derived for my punting, I lost money on the Sunday matches due to pure ignorance and poor mathematics foresight. It was too much of a rush.. so I shouldn't have bought anything...The great thing was that Liverpool beat Arsenal (hahaha FINALLY)!! While I didn't profited from it, I just felt great to see all the beautiful goals they scored...! Great play and superb tactics by Benitez considering none of the star strikers are around..
I am going JB tomorrow with my OG mates.. should be quite fun.. unfortunately, we need to be alert because JB isn't really like Singapore.... hope we have fun. Need to go find out where can we go to in JB city too..
Finally, see you at the airport soon! I will be working at the transit area in the airport, Terminal 1 or 2 I am not sure yet but I will know tomorrow.. haha.
It's a great day!

WOooooooooo!
It has been a great weekend. Met lotsa old friends from the army, partied at a birthday party, and Jinki is back from Austrailia.
Oh well, I didn't study for the exams, though I did flip open the FA textbook and Stats textbook to read a few paragraphs.. anyway that's not important.
The important thing is all the good friends are back and I am on a roll!
Some lousy moments were around though, like being overconfident and losing the WE tournament when I should had won easily, losing mahjong ($8) when I should had lost less, and having eaten only one meal on Sunday.
Let's talk about Chris' party on Sat. I was there from 3.30pm, met Justin and Marcus who were the earliest, play some games, then the guys came and we were ready to begin eating from 6pm onwards. Was eating, drinking (Yeo's drinks and one little glass of red wine) and talking to the guys from camp. Some people changed alot, like Marcus (din see him for 10mths), while some are still the same, like the whacky combo of Justin and RS. Oh well, some things never change. We had a great time until the match started and it was quite tense as there were so many punters, some with opposing views. Chris' tips were right again and we managed to win some money, although I ended with a negative balance as I tried to pull stunts. I guess you really need a cool head to be a good punter. A friend of Chris called Haojie won big big money from Pools and the bookie as he hit the jackpot and won $900+ for the various matches, from Man U beating Charlton by more than 1.5 goals to Bolton drawing with Chelsea. He even won the mahjong game with a big win, bankrupting Chris! He also won the tournament although he was my first tournament. I picked Japan while he picked Holland. Unfortunately, the Japanese strikers left their shooting boots home and he was VERY LUCKY throughout the whole night, winning everything he needed to win, and of course I was beaten 2-0. The only thing he lost that night was a 3-2 lost to my Monaco Master League team (I was unbeaten when I used this team, so I regretted not using it for the tournament..sigh) when I rechallenged him after he won the tournament beating RS. After all the playing we left at 4.30am.
However, the party hadn't ended! It was soccer time in the morning and I was ready to do some exercising for the week... Originally slated to be the street soccer court near my home, Chris changed his mind as he had more friends who could play together at the field near Junhao's place. We then proceeded there and played till 12.30am in the hot hot sun. It was cool though. I managed to grab one goal despite having very very low successful passing rates or tackling rates. It was the final goal of the game as we were very tired with the dragging on and on by the losing team for they wanted to overturn it...oh well, i am always on for a challenge.
After the soccer game, I bidded Chris goodbye, forgetting that he didn't like to see my brother. It's a case of 2 prodigies not comfortable with each other.. hmm.. anyway i am sure he had a great time and I did my job well spending the whole weekend with him despite having exams the coming week. I hope my efforts are not wasted!
The other thing was Jinki's return. I rushed to the airport without knowledge that he had already arrived and was on his way back. Luckily I called him and then I sped to his home to see him. He brought a Japanese friend back! Oh cool, really cool. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to try out my Japanese with the girl as I wanted to talk to my dear brother. Explained to him why nobody could come and receive him (anyway he told everyone not to go and receive him for it was late) and then we proceeded to talk about school and school life on his swinging bench. Spent like 2 hours there from 11+ to 1+ (no problem to me since I was driving.)
Got a shock when I reached home. Nothing serious, just the soccer game showed Birmingham leading 3-1 at Blackburn's home.... Went on to check the computer and stuff, voila, it was 3-3 on 63min~ I watched the match from then onwards and had a bad scare when Paul Dickov was put through 1 on 1 in the final extra minute of added time...PHEW. The game ended in a draw and I guess most of us got some money again.
A great great weekend. However it's time to show that I can play hard and work hard as well, so I'm gonna be working slightly harder than now for the next 2 - 3 days to see off the exams... I have no targets for the exams except that I am avoiding any Cs scores.
I hope the roll continues as I try to save up to repay debts and get myself a new toaster for the kitchen..heh. And not to forget all the presents I need to get for the birthday parties....such expenses account for nearly 20% of my monthly allowance! So dun blame me if you dun get a cool present for my monthly allowance is only 3 digit and starts with a 3, with fixed expenses at 3 digit too beginning with a 2.
Have a good holiday and see you next week. Byebye~
SHiok but tired

Hello!
Finally the school term is coming to an end.. classes have ended and the exams will arrive next week. It was well timed too, for the long weekend this week was a great rest period. It should rank as the best weekend I ever had since school started..heh.. however, the dark cloud that still looms over is the Financial Accounting project, but it is not too big a cloud, yeah, my team mates are really efficient and cool people, that's why! Anyway let me fill you in on why this weekend was a great one..
The first one should be the KTV session yesterday! It has since been 3 months from my last ktv for Lixia's birthday.. went back to the same place, $10 KTV club and saw that they had some new songs added. However we sang mostly old songs.. I didn't sing much because I felt there wasn't a need to. I prefer listening to people... Anyway my brother was there so he did hogged the mike abit with his stunning performances like Jay Chou's raps and songs... I hear him sing everyday when he's at home, so I didn't really felt it was very special.. but the guys thought he was really good at the rap. Oh of course la! He keeps playing these songs all the time... Ok. Back to the ktv, it was also Aloysius' birthday so we had a cake for him and got the guys to sing happy birthday for him. Unfortunately, only Alson and Charles remembered his birthday, and Kenny already celebrated for him on Wed, so he only got 1 present from the remaining 10 people.. I hope he doesn't mind cos I also forgotten about it until the day before at the beach when he was telling us about his clubbing experience on Wed.... Once again, let me wish a Happy 20th Birthday to Aloysius~ I hope you will suceed in whatever life goals you have!!
After the ktv, some of the guys left, while the rest went for dinner at Tiong Bahru market. The food there is always great!! Had some question and answer session from Dominic who will be joining SMU next year...SIGH... erm.. I won't say much because it's not ethical. Anyway, we went on to Tiong Bahru Plaza to discuss about Chris' birthday present.. the discussion culminated in Leslie, JX, GQ and me going on a 4hour shopping trip today.. oh well, i don't really like shopping, but am starting to appreciate the fun of shopping! Maybe during the holidays I should grab some of the better dressed guys to teach me how to get clothes.. hahaha.
On Saturday I went Sentosa with Aloysius and co... although the turnout was smaller than expected and the weather was never constant, we had a pretty good time. Surprisingly SR kept hiding in the shade even though usually he's quite a sunny guy...oh well.. And one observation was that the beach was crowded with 80% guys and 20% girls.. what a contrast to the situation in school! Oh ya, this leads me to a question, what is the difference between wearing swimming gear and underwear!? Bikinis show the same amount of skin as lingerie, while trunks are just non translucent briefs (but there are some translucent trunks around...) Quick pour in your views so that I can see how you feel about it!! Anyway, I was fully clothed all the while at the beach! Haha (nothing to show :P) Lastly we left when it began to drizzle and while queueing for a stall to shower, the rain poured.. Had a good glimpse of some funny guys who bathed in the open..cos they have open air showers within the male changing room (erm, with 4 walls, girls) Of course these guys were still in their trunks/pants, so I guess nobody dares to shower naked in the open..
The last happy thing to mention should be the big win on Sat.. Chris gave a great tip for Southampton to win and I broke my duck by following him...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Then with revenge in mind, I bet Bolton to lose with their uncle goalkeeper (41yr old Kevin Poole) and I won big money on that.. the last bet was my brother's tip for Everton to truimph so I hit the jackpot and finished with a cool $140 profit. My brother on the other hand, didn't follow his own tip and lost $50 on the German league....sigh..(Sighing because I had to treat him for the ktv and dinner)
Ok.. perhaps the only unhappy thing was to have injured myself on the ankle (think it's a recurrence of a ankle twist) while playing football on a Sun morning... so sad.. Anyway the game was only 2 on 2, but it was made interesting by me cos we had to attack the entrance door in the middle of the street soccer court while inside the centre cirle..the first goal only came after I got injured..so you see it's not so easy as it seems!! Hope to get well soon so that I can go play soccer/table tennis/tennis/swimming/running EVERYDAY during the holidays..hehe....fitness dropped drastically since I joined this Singapore Muggers University (i'm not a mugger, YET)
Lalalala...going berserk soon as I see only the holidays coming but not the exams... hahahahahahahahahahaha. this weekend Chris will be having his 21st birthday at home.. oh COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLL another day of play and fun~~~~ I hope I can win him at Winning Eleven~~!!! And Happy 21st Birthday to Chris... we had a hard time getting your present you know......
Delirious but happy
