Ciao ragazzi~
Haha, the entry title in Italian means 'good day friends' and 'ciao' is an informal way in Italy to greet your friends.
Project fever is hot in SMU! Deadlines loom with group pressure up and going. I suppose I need to stop dreaming and move along with the flow. Not to say I am slacking at the moment, but those adrenaline come in spurts. That is not going to help me fare any better than the past terms I have bungled through.
On a softer note, over the week or so life has been as usual. That is why nothing much is being updated on the blog. Perhaps the most annoying thing is my weight has yo-yoed back to the 63 level (been hovering from 60 - 63 for the year throughout) and that has been caused by the lack of consistent exercise and a general unrestrained consumption pattern. Arghz.
I suppose the best way is to follow the recommendation of having 3x exercise sessions weekly at 30 - 45mins per session. That should suffice in making me stay on the dot. How should I set aside that 3x sessions a week?
Mon
---
have to get up early for school which runs till evening, no point exercising?
Tue
---
same thing, have to get up early for school till 130pm. after that can go gym but having to carry barang barang doesn't appeal to me.. if there is project meetings then it also means have to do in the evening. but dinnering takes priority so end up no good time to exercise?
Wed
---
A free day but I tend to sleep till the late morning. Perhaps I can incorporate a swim or a jog on this day.
Thu
---
Perhaps I could do yoga in the morning... or have a jog.
Fri
---
Maybe I could have the same as Thu if there were no project meetings scheduled..
Sat
---
Maybe..
Sun
---
I have yoga class in the evening!
You see, I procrastinate. So what should I do to put some plan in stone and get it moving all the way? Should I use incentives to motivate myself or should I have a punishment system in place?
Tragedia...
Unmotivated

Today's a super hot day! Haha, regarding the title, maybe next time I take a photo to show all my 2nd most expensive footwear purchase.
Gerald and Pika and I went to watch The Devil Wears Prada. I say it's quite a good movie, very educational and inspiring. Apart from learning about the fashion/magazine world, a few very important stuff learnt include work ethics (they sure have tons of it) and a balanced work/life. Sometimes it's just not worth to work so hard in the company and end up going home to an empty home.. or worse still, one that is quarrelsome...I'm inspired by the work ethics shown and hopefully I will be able to reshape myself...
Oh, I took part in my school singing competition and was also booted out in the first round. LOL! I couldn't remember the lyrics and got the feeling of the song wrong as well. Ah well, another lesson learnt.
And I'm sick... flu. Still manageable.
Here I will write some interesting ideas about a bus service if I get to set up a public bus company:
Our buses use direct routes with a maximum of 4-5 stops. We will engage a 1 fare system. We will use an e-coupon system which you will just insert like the old mrt card at the entrance and exit. Prepurchase the coupons at our offices. There is no age differentiation fare but we will sell concession tickets for all. Just flash your card. This means most likely regulars will take the bus. Demand will be easily pre-determined. So we will know our service level. Yeah. Probably will do direct trunk service from a major heartland to the city or to link up the various heartlands. And also maybe only certain timings we will only run certain buses. It will be more of a demand based service?
The second idea is to have an internet website for all to book their slots on our bus and we will ferry them from a common pickup point or two perhaps, to a common destination. Perhaps taxis could be included in this program but I really doubt there is anymore public transport licences to be given out soon...
Just some ideas.. haha.
Going off... Write more when there is more time! Take care all~
Non lo so..

So many things happened over the fortnight I was missing! Man, now to write about them, I seem to have trouble thinking carefully...old le, memory is failing..
31 Aug 06 SMU Freshmen Bash Euphorique 2006 @ Ministry of Sound
================================================================
Woah, one of the best event i had ever participated in the organising in. Everything went clockwork accurate, althought some stuff were missing at the end. The atmosphere was electric! So many people watching the pageant! Too bad the day was a Thursday, otherwise we could have taken down MOS! Pika and Grace graced the event, making it a new experience for us as we have yet to club together before. Too bad we didn't dance! Haha, but the suggestion for Grace's birthday celebration was to go chiong again.. lol. I doubt she will go back sober man!
3 Sep 06 Project Superstar Audition @ Toa Payoh HDB Hub
========================================================
I joined the snaking queue after my work. My brother was there in the morning before I departed to the library for my weekend job, and even after I finished, he had yet to sing a single note. Eventually I queued till 8pm (3hrs) and he queued till 7+pm. Both of us were rescheduled to 5 Sep, Tuesday. Tiring..
The interesting part comes now. Okie, I shall not talk about him, but myself only. First I sang Alec Su's Xin Fu Yi Wan Nian, 2 sentences into the chorus I was paused. They told me to sing something that would better reflect my ability, so I sang Shin's Jia Ru. Finished the chorus, and finally they said, "since you wrote that you have a wide vocal range on your form, could you sing us a girl's song?' Then I was stunned momentarily because I thought I was in the male's group? And moreover it was the THIRD song that they wanted me to sing. As I didn't really prepare to sing any girl song at the audition, I struggled to remember the lyrics of ANY chorus, but to no avail. SIGH, and I was booted out of the first round.
Anyway the lessons I learnt were to prepare more songs and to also prepare a variety of genres, haha.. Next year then try again, I guess.
Other Stuff
===========
Hmm, just went Sentosa the day before (Sat) for BIZCOM freshmen orientation. Basically went there to get roasted by the sun, enjoy a bit of the beach games but ended offended HRH because of my inability to keep a promise... so guys, when you promise something, please make sure you get it done. I am reviewing my estimation powers so that I don't overestimate again.. always have been late and stuff due to some last minute crop ups and my soft-hearted nature..
Jeff Chang's new album is out! I particularly like Shuo Huang (Deceive), Ceng Jing (Past), Hou Hui De Jie Kou (An Excuse for Regret) and Shang Hai Gu Niang (Shanghai Girl).. Jay Chou's album is also out! Currently I have only heard Qian Li Zhi Wai (A Thousand Miles Away) which he co-sing with Fei Yu Ching. It's so rustic and old school! But that's so cool as now we trying to learn how to sing like Fei Yu Ching while also continuing the usual Jay's fare. Hahaha.
Finally to end off, I would like to talk about my carelessness. My carelessness degree has worsened... haiz. Not that I want it to happen, but it's like my obsession with efficiency and multi-tasking has taken its toll on me that I just miss out small but critical details. Sometimes it's recoverable, sometimes it's gonna be one big mess... How I wish I could have a module on being meticulous....
One day if the sky fell, will you still be standing?
