Holy milo!
The beverage from Nestle, "Milo" is a chocolate drink that's widely enjoyed in Singapore (and maybe many other places in the world). I particularly like a cuppa Milo when I feel hungry and have no access to any solid foods. Haha.
But today, when I say "holy milo" it doesn't mean the milo is a drink bestowed from some supernatural being or omnipotent person, it means "WHY LIKE THAT?!"
Lol.
Anyway, in the hunt for a home for Red Sands, I find that the greatest obstacle I face is the big $ sign. Sigh. Good places are expensive, and inexpensive places are hard to find. (geez, this is Singapore, a landstrapped nation).
Well well, I am glad that the sky is grey but not raining now, gotta run out soon!

Welcome to Jeffire's monthly posting!!
Actually there is nothing much to write about since everyone already knows what I am busy with all the time... hahaha.
My quarter-centurial (pardon the spelling) day just passed yesterday but it was quite interesting nonetheless. Work at my internship was as usual - crazy. After work, I went home only to find that nobody was at home, and dinner was as usual. I proceeded to watch some television (CNA and then Channel U) as I decided to laze around with nobody planning anything for me. Suddenly, there was a message for me to go over to some place at 9pm but everything was still as usual when I reached.
The unusual thing began around 10pm. Maybe it would be usual for you, but having 20+ Dous (see them at http://poohdous.blogspot.com) celebrating your birthday for you is a big party! Hahaha. Anyway when the group photo of the Dous are up then you can see them.. The delicious cake was savoured and feasted upon with glee...though it says "Champagne", I didn't taste any! (by the way, what does champagne taste like? =p)
The last activity of the day was to catch Gracie Grace for supper, but she was hidden in a ulu place called Bright Hill Drive (wonder if she scared any living human souls out of their bodies). After some deliberating and lack of parking space, prata outing became HK cafe outing. I can loudly say the konnyaku jelly at the Upp Thomson Cafe SUCKS big time!! (plus it's ultra expensive). My first choice for HK cafe will still be the HK cafes at Kovan and Cineleisure.
My birthday wish this year is a simple but greedy one -- to open my shop! I'm still looking for one with the right mix of rental rate, location, space and layout. Hopefully I can find it soon~~
Other than that, the stuff I need (*rub hands*) include:
a. watch, preferably metallic-digital
b. an assistant to do receipts
c. a casual belt
d. a new football
I guess that's about all, and this list is just to remind myself what I should get in the next few months.. haha. Feel free to strike it out for me by sponsoring me?
Lastly, just to talk about my latest pet peeves:
a. duck - a slang for f*ck.
b. cheese - a slang for ch**by*
c. an-zhua? (hokkien for "what happened" - in Jeffirean meaning: hello, yes?
d. holy milo! (copy from dunno where, army?) - meaning: oh, damnit.
e. PSH (someone's inititals) - meaning: pig still here, siam ah!
Okay, hope this entertained you enough. I will be blogging more often when my internship ends this Friday.
Cheers
Jeffire
