It has since been a long time from the time i last cried in front of people because i was really sad. Yesterday my family went into a big debacle over monetary issues, more specifically, the timeliness of funds for the business as every now and then we have to make payment to the workers for their salaries and the subcontractors for their weekly allowance. My brother was bugging me like 11+pm at night about the funds and I told him that I could only do it the following morning. It then escalated into a offensive and defensive encounter between my brother and mother against me. I know it's 99% my fault because I always put things off to the last minute. It's a priority problem for me as most of the time I spend my time doing research and travelling. I don't sleep much. And add it to the recent bout of illness (still coughing now) and the project submissions, everything just snowballs.
Add to that most of your friends are busy themselves and are ignoring you. And that there are also people who only like to have your presence when they feel like to. The world's kinda cold to me now...
Looking back at the term, I must say it is probably the most hectic ever, but it still beats the time when I had the full time job at the golf travel agency and also 2 other CCAs plus school work hounding me. Now I only have 2 part time jobs, 1 part time business, 1 CCA plus school work to hound me, which is slightly better. Unfortunately when it came to the crunch time, my personal life was left one side to the lowest priority and it ended up making feel me really bad. Despite having so many technological options to get in touch with people, I did not really manage the situation well.
Nonetheless, there are the good things to look forward to. For example, just one week later, I will be flying off to Taiwan for the business study trip. Hopefully I get to know some Taiwanese business procedures and even better still, find a superior supplier for my business. Haha.
Finally, the surprise for Eileen turned out to be almost a big blunder by me right at the very end. I think I always botch things up at the most crucial points, by the most minute details, like the Mar surprise for Pika. Looks like I need to practise giving more surprises to people!
And thanks a million to the people who were implicated in the sign-the-card-surprise-campaign... XM who picked the card and walked the long long distance, XL, MooMooCow who came out from her meeting halfway to write the message, HW who stayed up till midnight to wait for me, Pika and sister who had to pause their game halfway near to midnight to write the card.
Who is next to get a surprise? Heh heh heh.
