As it rained last night, I had a good sleep with the poohs and sweetie dou sleeping on both my pillows while I slept on my bolster.

After I woke up, the usual thing to do would be to first switch on my computer, and to my surprise, NTUC called me to go for an interview tomorrow at 1030am. Woo! Finally. If a success, it would also mean my irregular life must come to an end. I dread the morning crunch on the NEL where even Punggol Station has no seats for you if you are just slightly off the timing... ah well, that is for 2 months only.

That was the good thing.

The bad thing happened when I was preparing for brunch. I opened the kitchen cabinet only to find a big big cockroach clinging onto my favourite black pepper tube. Sobs. Of course it ran away immediately - to the back of the cabinet. I slowly took out the things inside the cabinet, got the insecticide ready (all these in an agonising 10 minutes) but it disappeared as I removed the last item in the cabinet. How can it disappear as there was no other access hole inside? I wonder, but this is the first time I saw a grownup cockroach at home. Usually I see those nymphs and I play a game of catcha-survivor with them. If they are caught, they die. It's not I want to kill them... it's so disgusting. If I don't eliminate them, they would grow to become huge bugs and contaminate my food. I don't want contamination. But cleaning the kitchen would mean intruding onto my mother's territory. We all hate people who mess up our stuff without permission so... I don't know how to get on with the elimination process.

Maybe when I move out, I would get those pest companies to survey my home and give me a report on how to prevent them from moving in with me. Hahaha.

Good or bad, cockroach or no cockroach, life goes on.....
