The past few days were certainly no good.

Many things on the agenda now, which I have been clearing, but the crunch is yet to be over. It should all be fine by the end of the week as I would have completed a half module and most of the business administration has been done.

A long chat with Pika yesterday made me realise the power of subtlety. Many times we do not pay good attention to what our close friends are saying because we think we know them very well. Misunderstandings, conflicts and even rivalry could happen if we do not pay attention to what we say, as well as what we hear. Hopefully I will be improving on this as I try to pay more attention to what people are trying to communicate to me.

My presentation today was a flop, as I went through the slides too quickly. My team leader had a real black face, probably as my part was the last part and ought to have concluded the presentation on a high. There is still so much to learn even though I have been doing so many presentations for the past few years.

Got notice of a piece of grim news today. I do not think I should say it here but let's hope for the best for this friend of mine.

And an hour ago there was an accident at the junction just beside my home. I could hear the loud crash while I was throwing some trash away. Luckily there seem to be no deaths and injuries. Someday ago though, I heard from the taxi driver that a motorcyclist was hit at the same junction. There should be some concern from the town council for my area as I observe an increase in unwelcomed incidents.

To sum up the post, Valentine's Day is coming and I wonder what should I do that day?
