Hey hey! (sorry i'm not Hard-Gay, if you don't know who he is, go youtube and search)
I'm feeling rather bored as Eng Wah Cineplex (particularly West Mall branch) isn't picking up my call. Got some question to ask them about the movie pass won from UOB Internet Banking. I had sent an email as well, though I should be expecting the reply to come a century later. Let's see...
Nonetheless, I am not typing this post just out of boredom, but rather, to summarise a fantastic week. Perhaps I will go back by retro-sequence.
YESTERDAY, the rabbit gang gathered to watch Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man's Chest. I say the movie is super entertaining! While the story lacks the wit compared to its predecessor, they upped the ante with the fantastic scenery, costumes/make-up, and the ridiculously charming crew. Not just Depp, Bloom or Knightley, but the rest also makes some serious impact on the show as well! Too bad I didn't get to sit beside the super screamer (which would have multiplied the entertainment value), since there were several thrilling scenes. And and and, all of you, do not forget to sit through the credits to watch a hilarious last scene! Hahahaha. If you watched it, please leave your name so that we know who did and who did not =p. Apart from the movie, the shopping, waiting, eating (ramen at Marina Sq lvl 3) was pretty usual. People who attended: Prince of Dreamland, Queen Purple, Princess Cow, Goddess of Trouble, Wizardress of Rabbit Land, Princess Pooh, Prince of Desert. Haha, so who's who?!
Here's a photos of the 4 northbound train-people.. hehe..there are some more photos but not with me.
Guess who's who? Hehe, those are my 2 cuties Picnic Pooh and Pikapika!
WEDNESDAY, nothing much less some near misses in the Battle of 4D and the finale of Gateau Affairs, a HK serial featuring pastry and cake making mixed with a fantastic love story. The finale was a tad lame, and of course those who disapprove of CG will dislike this show as well, since it exaggerates with pretty obscure CG from the ages long ago. Nonetheless, the story was addictive as I managed to catch about 16 episodes out of a grand total of 20.
TUESDAY, a trip to NUS with the chief aim of eating at the Arts canteen there ended up with some food wastage. Sigh. We were TOO FULL to finish all! (Ok, at least I finished my Teriyaki-Tamago bento set). Grace ordered another set which I cannot remember it's name - she didn't finish it. Then, Pika had a bowl of bak chor mee, $1.80 and you get a huge bowl! Again, didn't finish it (even though I tried to chip in a few mouthfuls). We also ordered a bowl of potato salad/pasta, didn't finish it either. Unfortunately the laksa yong tau hoo stall sold out, that was the most desired dish we wanted to try. Haha, and we didn't even get any drink! Actually the aim of the trip was to force Grace to go send her Toshiba laptop for repair in school, not to eat. Ended up eating so much.. Finally the conclusion of the trip is that I absolutely cannot comprehend why would people want to travel to NUS from the north or northeast. It's so FAR! But of course, the rustic charm and the education one can indulge in NUS are some key points that can negate that travel time problem.
Grace and Pika...competition for Gerald?
MONDAY, oh, since my last post ended on Monday, I guess the missing part is the visit to MoS (yes, Ministry of Sound). The place was under renovation but did not impede our recce session. Yes, the SMU Freshman Bash will be held there on the 31 Aug! Haha, who wants to book tickets now? Should be around $15 bucks. Anyway the key point was that I felt a sharp jab in my liver while inside there. I suppose it's the chemical fumes left from some glossy application to the flooring. Eeeks, hope they finish up the renovation soon and then everything will be fine. I'm really not too sure if I were to stay there late even though I don't have lessons on Friday.. most likely it will be a straight no since i do not like clubbing. (who would want to die of 2nd hand smoke?)
Ah well, that's about all in my life. Later I will be busy in the kitchen! Not too sure if I can cook up a good meal tonight for the brothers and girlfriends! Hahaha. But I will try my best~~

Ahahaha, i'm both happy and disappointed at the same time now, having lost in my ever gaming tournament. It's the XBox360 Gameon Tournament which was held in my school and the game I played in was FIFA 2006.
I picked Sweden for its well balanced qualities. Played against some Indian foreign student, who like me, is also a first hander at the game. Actually I had been practising at the stations for almost an hour as I was waiting for the tournament to begin. But of course the practice didn't help much as my team faltered to the French team. I actually took the lead through a penalty and subsequently gained control of the game for long periods of the match until he turned the tide and equalised with a defensive error I made. Subsequently he took the lead as my goalkeeper made a mistake, palming the ball to an unmarked Henry, and finally I lost the game in the 80th odd min when the ball bounced off Henry again to put out the Swedish's flaring determination. I only have to blame for forgetting all the time that the SHOOT button was the 'B' button! Hahaha. Anyway I got a free XBOX bag which I think needs some cleaning at some junctures, but it looks pretty good as an pre-example to how i should carry a Le Coq Sportif bag (which i'm still wondering to get or not). Saw it with the rabbit gang yesterday at Bugis Street..$41 after discount. Wonder if it's worth it. Oh, regarding the ball, anyone who won consecutive 2 games would get the ball as a quarter-finalist and then another 2 to go into the finals of the Xbox360 Gameon Fifa 2006 tournament held at Suntec City..haiz.. why didn't I get the ball.. (it's a green Addidas ball. quite nice..)
Yes, as mentioned, yesterday the gang was out again to scout for dear Ah Gong's birthday present. As usual food is a never shirkable subject and we had 328 Katong Laksa at the Rockery, outside OG Bugis. It was marvellous though not estacy-inducing. Speaking of that, due to Grace being unhappy (albeit for a short moment only) we ended up missing her favourite TEMPURA store. We spent some time at Bugis Junction, and subsequently moved to Suntec to hunt for the right present.
The first stop was at Giordano where Pika displayed his modelling astuteness by trying out some polo-tees, pink, light green and pink-gray. The group was split over which colour suited him, so eventually he did not get any of those at all. Hahaha. As we walked around somemore, the girls complained of tiredness and hence we had to find somewhere to sit and perhaps have dinner (though Eileen, Pika and me had yoga class and couldn't eat much anyway). Again the choice selection was Xing Wang HongKong cafe. The thing with the cafe isn't its price nor its offering but the ambience it brought. Supposedly if you shared shared shared, the bill wouldn't cough up much even though you might had tried probably around 4-5 items? Haha. And we took some group photos there! Maybe here's one for you.

Half the Rabbit Gang!
Time flew past quickly and we were soon rushing to return to Khatib for our yoga class. Despite the rush, we still stopped by the watch shop and had some scouting doen as the item we were picking for Ah Gong was a watch. Due to the lack of time, we just had a quick spot and then yeah, off we scooted for the train. We had a frantic time value-adding our cards (Grace and me) as the train was only a minute or so away. We ran down and caught the train in good stead. Haha. We were running late for our class! And my shorts were in danger of falling while we ran to the CC from the station because it didn't velcro properly. Fortunately, Pika got his sister to bring over the stuff and she rode a bicycle to the community centre. Phew.. need to give our million thanks to her. We had an enjoyable session at the yoga class, revising many poses which we had done before. After that, we had some light stuff to compensate for our half-dinner earlier on, followed by the usual walking to the station(Eileen) and bus-stop (me) to end the day in a jubilant mood.
Hmm..what else should I write?
Birthday celebration... yep, I'll have the first run at my home on Friday with the 7Seas as brother is departing back to school again on Saturday. Hopefully we will have an enjoyable time even though I predict that it would be quite a short gathering. Not too keen on having people going home late with the lunar seventh month starting tomorrow. Moreover, this year we had a repeating lunar seventh month! So not much opportunites for night activities even though I'm not really a very superstitious person.
The second run will be outside though, as I plan to have a buffet outing. The venue is the dim sum house of Lao Bei Jing (Old Peking) at Novena Square. Since Gerald says it's good, I guess it means it is really good! We shall see...
Finally to end off this post, let me concede defeat as a toothsayer, since my world cup predictions were entirely off the mark. Haha. However, here I offer my analysis on why some of the bigger teams failed:
Brazil: Mentally tired players
Czech Republic: Lack of strikers and over-reliance on an aging midfield
England: Wrong selection of tactics and players..and I say Beckham and Gerrard played well.
Germany: They were unlucky to meet a cheating team on fantastic luck
Portugal: Lacking penetrative players and strikers were not up to the mark
Argentina: Overconfidence, players were not down to earth.
Holland: Can't they just ditch their 4-3-3 which doesn't work without a Total Football system..
Ah well, my humble opinions are open to your debate and criticism.. haha.
Alone but smiling in school

Today was an absolute sucker day.
As some of you might have known already, I lost my ez-link school pass and simultaneously lost a few days worth of concession travel. It is just a real bad time to lose it since these few days there are several meetings to be attended. I really feel like not attending them now. Sianz. And really thanks to all my buddies and friends who helped me find the OCK outlet phone number where I suspect I lost my card, even though nothing ended nicely. Eventually I bought a new ez-link adult card knowing that I will be travelling to and fro for a few days. I hope that someone will return the concession card to any transit link counter or even to the school.
Then apart from that incident, nowadays I find my CCA meetings more and more useless. The important people don't attend and the irrelevant people are asked to attend just to listen. It's such a common occurrance found in the comic Dilbert.
Well, that's the sort of liability you signed yourself with by taking up CCAs. Charles will agree with me on this, right?
Hmm...anything else to recall. Wor. We had a rabbit gang gathering last Friday at Wisma and NYDC, Wheellock. It was so interesting. We shared food like chicken wings, the super long queue hokkien mee (Thye Hong) and shui jiao tang(dumpling soup). Then the post dinner activity was dessert at NYDC! The fun part began with Gerald's obsession with that drink called Bailey' Irish Cream blah blah. He was like playing with Grace, whenever he said 'Bailey's Irish', he nudged Grace on the shoulder. Hahaha, Grace ended up swaying to and fro as Gerald kept demanding it while nudgin her. We managed to get a small clip but it's Gerald's property now.. sobz. Anyway Bailey's Irish cream taste like a light rum to me but the menu says it's not alcoholic. Anyway I didn't really like that but the mudpies and cakes were fantastic! We shared some 2 mudpies and a cake. Haha. I ended scrapping the molten ice cream from the plates (too bad it was crowded, otherwise would have licked it clean) and signing it off with the spoon.
Ended the night on a bus chasing pursuit in which we discovered 965 could be taken at 1153 in Yishun... the latest bus I can take home from Yishun..
Gerald and Grace, are they...?

YO!
I finally got time to write on the blog, mm, seems like my dear pooh wrote something on my behalf. Hur hur.
Yesterday(12 Jul) is quite a disastrous day man. The beginning of the day saw me switching off the alarm and going back to bed. I ended up waking up at 10.56am. With that, I began to clear the tasklist I wrote the day before. By the time I finished it was 1pm! I had to go to Pika's place at 1pm! Sigh. By the time I reached there, it was already 2.20pm.
The trouble began when he was bathing. I meddled with his PC, which frequently shuts down whenever he does something to the ADSL modem. I suspected it was the driver problem. Yes, it is, but the new driver I downloaded and installed for him did not work! Hence we actually spent the next 3.5 hours meddling with this modem driver until he finally got it working. Hahaha. To think my friends look for me to solve their computer problems!
Anyway, later in the night, after getting a new ink catridge for my printer, I installed it with ease when I got back home. The trouble began when the paper did not load as it should do smoothly. Suspecting it was a paper problem initially, I tried to reload the paper. Then the next suspiscious fault was the roller, which my brother and I both concluded so. The printer was condemned eventually. However, with some determination that my choice of the printer was never a poor one, I tried to lay it on the side and see if gravity would help to align the paper roller. Instead I saw something foreign inside the printer. Turning it back flat, I tried to feel my way around but was unsuccessful. Even as I felt it may not actually be a foreign object, I still turned the printer to the other side and shaked it abit. Finally the culprit fell out onto the floor. It was a stooooooooopid turnkey! (a small metal bar you use to unscrew or screw those squarish screws). Feeling triumphant, I then tested the printer again to eventually heave a sigh of relief. Surprisingly, to me, the tide turned when Pika finally got online. He persisted in giving me some pointers on how could get it done even though I tried to reassure him it was pointless to do so. Hahaha. I guess he does bring me some luck! Heh.
My birthday is coming soon in 3 weeks' time! (*hint hint*) Hahaha, I guess I would invite the 7seas to my home to do a little celebration by the end of the month before my big brother runs off to Australia again. As for the rabbit gang, I am still contemplating where to have a little treat as a pre-cursor to the starting of school...Ha, to save your trouble, I have on my sidebar the wishlist.. hahaha. =p
Finally, to round up the entry, I would like to wish all my friends plenty of good health! JOYCEZIE, you better take care of yourself ah! Ms E, you also ah. And whoever else near to breakdown, come on, take a break and get yourselves recharged for the upcoming new term. Jiayou and take care okie?
Warmest Wishes

Pooh~! (Greetings from Picnic Pooh)
Continuing the above story...
So Jeffire finally reached a destination that Pikapika said was pretty familiar. I was very hungry so I checked around to see if the picnic was ready. It was not! Stupid Jeffire forgot to bring any food, so I was so hungry and sweating. -angree- But he suddenly asked us to do him a favour, which is to make a call somewhere, then he will provide us food, drinks, company and shade. Hehe, of course I immediately agreed to his request.
Soon we were up in a place which Pikapika said was a place he onced stayed a long time in. Then up next we were playing with the other bears around. So fun! Jeffire finally found his smile back and all was well for the day again. After that we bidded the bears goodbye and went for our outing with Jeffire... Ended up too tired and slept in his bag... haha.
These days Jeffire has been doing yoga. Think he is shaping up quite well. Other than that, like nowadays he does some work and goes out just as often. Wonder where does he go to, but anyway he looks happier these days. We love it when he's smiling since he will buy more goodies for us, take us for a ride, and play with us. Haha. Pikapika doesn't like the sun though I like it. Pikapika prefers the cool arena of the place we played with the bears (he doesn't know where it is, neither do i) but I like our home's warm sun and nice air-con at night! Hopefully we get to see more bears around to play around!
Meanwhile Pikapika and I have to study hard for our Poohrish-English course. Heard there is a school which is enrolling members but cost wise isn't very worth it. Wonder if there is a discount upcoming...?
Okie okie, we shall stop writing here and give the blog back to Jeffire. Hehe, serves him right for not taking me out for picnics more often. I want potato chip, sandwiches and honeeeeeeeeeeeeey~~~

Hug Me!
Hi! I am Picnic Pooh! Let me tell you some stories about my life and also about my dear dear Jeffire~
Jeffire ah, his room is in a mess, in need of some cupboard to dump all the bits and pieces. But the new curtain makes the room nice to sleep! Sometimes he makes weird noises at night, but usually he reads something before he departs to dreamland, it will be in a quiet manner instead.
But one day, he was crying.
He cried and then he spoke to Pikapika and me. Then he hugged us and put us on his pillow. Then he dozed off.
As I was quite tired too, I didn't manage to know what happened but a day later he spoke about some interesting picnic that we will be going to. I was quite excited!
On the day of the picnic, we went into his bag. As I was still sleepy, I just fell asleep in the cool bag although outside it was quite warm. I remember during my sleep Jeffire took some photos of pikapika and me. I was quite alarmed.
'Was he going to dump us away?' That was the question in my mind.
Stay tuned to Episode 2!
