DO NOT have any weird ideas =p
The title is actually a song title, sang by local singer Joi Tsai (Cai Chun Jia). It's been quite some time since the song was playing on the radio, but only recently that I have grown huge interest in this song after hearing it again on the radio. Hopefully some of you will be able to grab hold of the song on radio and then enjoy the beautiful voice of Joi (as well as the piano).
Well, these days are getting peaceful. My new bed has come in for one entire week. It feels slightly hard but the size of the bed now endears me to it even though every morning the sun shines brightly on me. My curtain has yet to be sent in, so we have to call that stupid curtain shop again to get it entirely done up (currently there's a thin white layer (not sure what's it called in English) providing a bit of coverage (doubt you can see through from outside anyway), haha! Apart from my bed, there's nothing much to mention about my new room.
In fact, in another 4hrs I will be departing for Bangkok. Yingzie and Pea are already there.. wonder how did they spent the first day there? I do not want to get there and get scolded if something went wrong.. haha. This is not so me to worry so much =p
OH, this reminds me. Last Wed Charles, my bro(fatfat) and me went to JB. Fatfat wanted to buy games, and since it's on the way, I asked Ah-Kai if he wanted to buy any. We enjoyed the day eating KFC for lunch/tea and zi-char for dinner. It's so cheap! Anyway, the bad thing was that I was caught(yes only I because fatfat's discs were in my bag since he didn't carry any). Luckily I wasn't fined but they recorded my stuff and my details.. sigh. Next time I shall not buy anymore discs for fatfat since I have not been able to touch the PS2 for long.. no time no mood~
Lastly to end this post, will like to wish all the very best. Heard that Joyce, Ms E, Boss, all quite jialak in internships.. hmm, work hard, learn more, make yourself more valuable! Hope all will make it worthwhile~
Look forward to meeting alot of people leh.. very long never meet the 7Seas, army guys, my CHS friends, and my various friends from my previous jobs. Haha.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Okie, just scream first to relax abit. So many things involved in house shifting. Yes, as you guys may have seen my msn/sms regarding my home shifting, I have officially moved to Punggol. Hope I will have time to upload some pictures of my room when the mattress is here. Haha. (oh no, that reminds me of my HK pics)
Perhaps I shall clear the HK trip post first... but it would be a watered down version I guess.. here goes!
24 Apr Monday
==============
Up early early again with a bare minimum of 4.5hrs of sleep, my excitement could hardly be covered with an unmissable grin on my face. Yes! It's the FIRST time in my life that I will be taking a plane, albeit a budget one. (Ah well, thankfully there's such airlines that has given me the chance to fly). We left Yishun around 730+pm, going to the airport by bus 858. The new budget terminal is pretty bare, small, but we were wrong! That's on the outside. Anyway, on the inside it was pretty nice with many shops but too bad we were rushing for the plane and those sights were just a flash in my memory as we hurried towards the boarding gate.
The taking off was a bit time-taking, but overall it was not as bad as my Genting experience (of course la, how to compare taking a plane with a roller-coaster ride!?). The seat was really cramped and we nearly had trouble finding a 2seater to sit together as many of the early birds 'chopped' the window seats and also the other 2 seats for their friends/relatives. Luckily Pika had sharp eyes and we found one in the middle of the plane where we could see the wing of the plane. Haha.
Macau International Airport is situated near the shoreline, and we could see some reclamation ongoing. I guess the airport needs some major upgrading.. my feeling is that it is indeed a small old airport, period.
We contemplated taking the bus or the taxi to the hotel, but due to a lack of coins, we eventually had to settle for the more expensive option. A short trip over the bridge brought us to our hotel, Kingsway Hotel. The hotel looked good, the room was good and well, we settled down in a jiffy and went out to explore.
It began with the long walk to the city centre. Macau is pretty new and old. New in the sense you have big banks, nice shops, but you also have old roads, old residences, ancient buildings (historical monuments, etc). I shan’t bore with you much here but when you see the photos they would be much more useful to your understanding. We ended up walking, eating, walking and walking. Highlight of the day would be the grand Macau Tower where we spent quite a bit of time there, from 4+ till 7+, taking photos, viewing the nice scenery and testing our guts to see if we were daring enough to stand on the glass flooring (parts of the floor). Macau Tower is pretty tall and mind you, we were at the 58th floor so you can imagine why it takes some guts to stand on that glass panel.
The trip cumulated into more walking to the remains of St Paul’s Church, pork chop burger, more photo taking and walking around. Eventually took us quite some time to get around and finally ‘wander’ back to the hotel around 11+.

========
The next day began with waking up somehow late and then leaving our luggage at the hotel before proceeding to the other parts of the area for exploration. Bought plenty of local foodstuff after trying out them. Oh, we tried very hard to find the ginger candy Pika wanted but to no avail. After walking some kilometres, we proceeded back and took our luggage with us to Yaohan, which was nearby the ferry terminal to HK. Yaohan is somehow similar to our TSC though not as grandiose looking. Anyway, as time was tight, we bought a bottle of green tea to soothe our dry throats and proceeded to the ferry terminal to HK.
Upon arrival to HK, my once asleep body (the ferry seats were quite comfortable) woke up again to new sights and scenery. Pika dragged me to the laser light show which was pretty romantic. The walkway was dotted with famous stars names, autographs and handprints (Star Alley issit called? Not sure) and we were standing on Tsim Sha Tsui, staring across towards Central/Causeway Bay. The laser light show wasn’t that spectacular although I must commend that the participation of many many buildings in the light show did increase the fascination. We had trouble taking night photos with our low end cameras and therfore couldn’t really capture the sights of the light fest for you guys to see as well. As the show ended, we took another long walk to the ferry terminal to go across the waters to Causeway Bay (now I understand why it is called a bay). The most tiring part of the trip happens here, we dragged our luggage across the streets probably for about 3-4km, up the bridges, down the stairways. Finally found our hotel and after throwing our stuff down, we quickly went out to find dinner (at 10+, it seemed quite hopeless given the somehow ‘ulu-ness’ of our hotel location. Found a small restaurant and had some local fare. HK food is not really cheap… Pika brought me around the area, the major shopping belt Times Square, just for a short intro, then we realised that it was just a short 10min walk to our hotel from this shopping belt instead of the long detour we took. Hahahaa.
26 – 27 Apr 06
===========
Basically the remaining days were spent walking and shopping. The first half of 26th was spent in Causeway Bay itself, looking for guzheng muscial guides/score books where we had Japanese food for lunch (it’s really affordable) and then we hopped over by ferry again to Kowloon looking for Gerald’s classical music cds at HMV. HMV is really huge and interestingly they stock R21 shows. Haha. We spent nearly an hour there and managed to find some of the cds Gerald wanted. After that we walked around somemore but my feet were really aching from all the walking (and my shoes were not walking-friendly) so we had a quarrel and went on a cold war. I walked with him all the way to visit the night markets, but we did not even speak a word. Eventually I had to coax him to stop by a roadside shop for a bite but he didn’t flinch and just stopped to wait while I struggled to even understand what the stallowner was saying. Arghz. Eventually I just pointed, pointed and gave the money to the stallowner. Well, somemore coaxing ensued that we were back to normal again, albeit still slightly frosty. You can find lotsa weird stuff in the night market, like sex toys, sexy underwear, and etc. We bought Pooh clocks~, Hello Kitty bag (which was damn cheap and cute and nice), Japan national jersey and a visor. Yes, I know you guys are gonna whack us for not buying enough. (we regretted not buying enough as well.. sobz). Even the Pooh clocks were bought we took some 3 rounds of walking before eventually deciding to get them. Hahaha. Oh we went to cut our hair as well, because their salons were real cheaper than Singapore and we thought HK hairstylists were more modern. Haha. Enjoyed the whole experience. Went to Baleno as Pika saw some nice clothes while I still had to find something for my mother. Yeah.
The conclusions for the trip:
a. You do not need an expensive hotel since you were not be inside the hotel for long anyway, so just get somewhere real accessible to the best of your budget. Consider guesthouses as well.
b. Bring good shoes or buy a good pair there to walk walk walk~ As HK is pretty small, you only take public transport if the place is too far to reach (dun waste your time walking on roads with nothing to see ma).
c. Go for at least 5 days to fully enjoy the experience with minimum regrets (note: I used the word, MINIMUM – it seems never enough! LOL)
I am tired typing such a long post.. okay will update soon again with the photos and also on my new home in Punggol~~

Hi guys,
It's been a week since I last blogged. I am terribly sorry that the Macau/HK Trip pictures are still not up yet, as well as the accompanying post. The mood isn't there yet..
These days had been torrential. Had some really tough moments, had some really fun moments.
Why is it that there are people who are so self-conscious? I have long archived my past. I treasure my present, I look forward to the future I wish to shape.
Like Gaara, there is an automatic shield constructed to protect myself. I know there are always some stuff that will hurt and hence I try to avoid these stuff. Yet you know, this automatic shield is sometimes breached...yeah. Sometimes some stuff need not be said. I can feel it. I know I can feel it cos it hurts.
Sand, sand, sand.. the vast quantities of the sand in this world, if they, represent my many many thoughts, I hope they will flow away like the quicksand, taking my sorrows away.
