YOOoooZ! "dai ka hou mo?" (means is everyone fine in cantonese)
Okie, I dun have much time now.. home shifting is indeed troublesome. But this post I'm writing to play tag with Yingzie
I was given 3 names by her to put into 3 categories.. the names are "Lee Young Ae"(Korean pretty actress), "Xu Chun Mei" (rich old skinny woman with big mouth) and "Furong Jiejie" (i dunno who is she!)
Makeout: Lee Young Ae
Marry: Xu Chun Mei
Murder: Furong Jiejie
Easy wizy ah. Take the beauty Lee, marry the rich woman Xu (and get her to share her wealth on the divorce contract, which she did so to get her wealth), kill that bu-yao-lian (shameless) ugly, er-xin *vomits* who-the-heck "Furong Jiejie".
Yingzie! Too bad it's not so difficult wor.
Now to tag Charles or Joyce... mmm dun sabo my 7seas brothers la..dun sabo a lady la.. so i pick Charles ba. Wahahaa! Okie the 3 names are:
a. Queen Elizabeth
b. Ru Hua
c. Lydia Sum
Hahahaha. Good luck Charles!
Currently very busy moving home and stuff, got to vote next weekend and then shift to Punggol.. arghz, my furniture haven't even order yet. So hopefully i can find a good 2-3hrs to blog about my HK trip and to upload the photos!
Thank you all for your kind concern..
Love to catcha soon! Mata ne~

Haiz, I am supposed to blog about my trip on this post #239 but too bad, I just need to get this down so that I will learn properly.
"Conflicting moods" means the situation is that I have reasons to be happy (going on a holiday) and also to be sad (see below)..
Issue #1 - Reverse Parking
==========================
The rear windscreen of the van was shattered just now when I was in Ang Mo Kio Central, at the multi storey carpark. The rear windscreen has an attached additional aiding mirror and the protruding fencing of the carpark bent it, and my excessive reversing made that aid mirror crush the rear windscreen. SIGHZ. My father is slightly pissed off with me because of my stupidity. He had made the same mistake before at another car park and had warned me about it...
I need to remember 2 things here - No parking at MSCPs which have entrances 1.8m and below, and try not to park at MSCPs, especially older ones.
Issue #2 - Missing Joyce's birthday celebration
================================================
ARGHZ! This one is one big regret I have. The day was so long that I was in school, at the workshop, at my new home, running from west to east, east to west (driving) and in the end, had to miss the party. SIGH. I should had gone because I so so so treasure Joyce as a friend.
I will make a public apology here and promise a treat to Joyce when I return from HK. Hope this can wash off some of the regret I have.
Issue #3 - Forgetfulness
========================
This is a chronic disease I always have. Anyone can help me on this?
Issue #4 - Packing Luggage
==========================
ARGHZ. I haven't pack my luggage when it's 7 more hours to check in.
Issue #5 - Shifting Home
========================
It's so troublesome. My mother has set the deadline to move into the new home around May 9 - 11. I have yet to even get my furniture! Anyway I picked some interesting colours for my room.. hee. Lavender Lilac for one wall and Floral Pink for the other. It sounds weird =p, Well I meant it to be weird. Haha. My parent's room is entirely floral pink, my brother's water blue (same as the living room) so I want to be different.
okie... i think i feel slightly better now. Gotta bathe and pack the luggage and then grab some sleep before I take my first ever ride on the plane!
DON'T WORRY LA! I will not forget your souveniours =p
Worried and Excited

Hi all!
This week has been an enjoyable week with good rests and wonderful activities. It's Friday already! I have yet to pack my luggage for the upcoming overseas trip! It would be the first time I am taking a plane~~ Wahahaha! Thinking of it makes me really excited.
I shall store the excitement away and bore you with the run of events in the week.
Monday
======
International Economics exam was a total gone-case. Many people didn't have time to finish the paper at all. For me, the problem would be that I studied the wrong stuff! Anyway it's over and I guess I would have to buck up next term. After exams, Ms E and I went out for a post-exam celebration. It felt weird but fun. Probably you could consider it as my first one-on-one outing? But seriously, just let me clarify here - it's just a post-exam celebration which someone flew our kite (it was fated so anyway due to the stupid rain). Ah well, Hougang's hotplate western food is really hot! Black pepper..
Tuesday
=======
Tuesday was a tiring day as there were lotsa stuff to be settled at the workshop. The weather and jams were not too kind either. The plan of the day was to visit Ikea! Finally caught up with Pika after a series of misfortunate events which delayed our meeting time by 4hrs. And subsequently our Ikea outing was cut short too. Sigh. Nonetheless, as we had our plans for the furnishing of our rooms (he is refurnishing his) still in the doldrums, nothing concrete was decided yet. I'm thinking of putting a double bed into my small room, but not too sure if the measurements would fit. Need to draw a floor plan and then bring it to the store before purchasing the furniture! Ikea's cafe had pretty interesting offerings. Hopefully can go there again with the 7Seas to see if they can provide me with any ideas on my room! Haha. Eventually for the day we ended up in Hougang again before going home.
Wednesday
=========
Wednesday was the day Pika, Ms E and I went back to YJ for their CO (chinese orchestra) thingy. The YJCO alumni was invited back to help bolster the current CO's strength. However it seems like response wasn't very good. The whole experience, from the teachers to the quality of the CO, was not very relishing. I wonder what has happened to 'manners' and 'determination'. Anyway, the school hasn't changed very much. Hee, one interesting thing to note here - I saw my former Maths teacher at Singapore Pools! This proves 2 things: Firstly whatever probability crap your teacher taught you should not be entirely believed. You see, buying lottery is definitely a losing game, but the interesting part is not the losing of your money but the exchanging of your money for the small thrill, and the bonding you make with other people when you discuss about your hits and misses. Secondly, if your Maths teacher buys lottery, that means there is a way to improve your winning probability! Hahaha. That's what I believe~ Anyway, after the CO thingy, we went to eat and shop at Northpoint - just like what we used to do during our JC times. However, a huge portion of my memory in YJC are linked to the word 'busy'. I do not have many happy memories of that era...though I am really really really glad to have a bunch of chaps whom I can call 'The 7Seas Brothers'.. We still have a long way to go together, be it a battle with the exams or a soccer match against other people! Haha.
Thursday
=========
It was mahjong class #1 at my home and again it was Ms E, Pika and his sister. My culinary skills deserted me as it turned out to be less than satisfying. Ah well, such stuff takes constant practice and I guess my hands have gone rusty. Anyway I still enjoyed the Japanese curry I cooked myself.. Teaching them mahjong was a difficult task. Ms E had very bad memory and a rigid processor, Pika had too little RAM and poor labeling comprehensor, while Pika's sis was the best among them! Haha, talk about being younger and nimbler! Nonetheless, another few more classes they may be able to rival you guys! Oh ya, I did a plumber job too, the kitchen sink was clogged! However I managed to clear the glut (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeyucks!) and yeah, the clean up was easy-wizy.
Today
======
Tasks for today:
a. Send Pika's chair back home
b. Send my laptop to the doctor
c. Fetch my brother's duffle bag and my brother (of course) back home
d. Change HKD
Ah, that concludes my week... haha. Thanks to all! I will try to get as many presents for as many people as possible! Mochi for most of you since you guys were nearly drooling over them =p But I supposed photos would be the most desired stuff you guys will like to see right? Hee. I will be clicking and clicking photos of the HK lifestyle! So stay tuned and see if those scenery in your Canto serial drama look anywhere familiar...
Till I return, see you guys~
Thrilled

Ohayoo!
Well, it's Good Friday today, so let's wish all a happy easter! Bunnies, chocolates and eggs! Dun eat bunnies ok? Enjoy the chocs and eggs though.
Nonetheless, this week the school has become a battlefield for all. Yes, it's the exams period. I have actually returned from 2 battles. I suppose they weren't any victorious ones, but never mind, the war is still far from over. The last one comes next Monday and then it would be a great time to recharge batteries, shift home and reset my direction which would be reflected again on the side bars nearer to my birthday.
This week has been pretty eventful as well (I don't seem to have a eventless day for the whole of this year anyway). Some interesting ones include being self appointed judges for the ramly burger stalls at the pasar malam in my neighbourhood, and walking from Ang Mo Kio to Bishan and walking all the way back to Yishun. Yeah, kinda tiring but fun. However I would prefer cycling for that sort of distance though. It really depends on who you are walking with, I guess. Hee.
That reminds me of the post exams activities. Less my overseas trips, the activities I would gladly pursue include:
a. cycling around 2-3 neighbourhoods
b. tennis games
c. weight losing initiatives such as football, jogging, swimming and possibly a and b
d. finding part time work
e. karaoke sessions
f. mahjong classes
g. winning eleven challenges
h. food tasting around Singapore
i. learning to play the keyboard
j. shopping appreciation
k. baking and making unbaked confectionary (thanks to JQi)
l. cooking up new stuff which i have yet to do before
m. beauty and skin care appreciation
n. meeting friends
and finally,
o. learn to sleep 15hours!
I guess sometimes we just have to be totally relaxed and get the stress off our backs to ensure we can move forward with adequate energy and improved zest!
Oh, not to forget the regular football season is going to be over, followed by the WORLD CUP 2006~~~! And a bunch of other ongoing stuff to do as well.
My holiday plans seems pretty well planned, right? Hurhur.

Hurhur!
Jinki aniki(means big bro in Japanese), you gonna be shocked man! Yesterday morning I dreamt of Da Sao going to give birth wor! The dream goes like this:
a. We were in a lift.
b. Da Sao cries out pain, and says she is going to give birth.
c. Jinki goes spinning around in a mess.
d. I made a call to the hospital and arrange for the labour room.
e. Jinki goes pacing around the room while Da Sao is saying 'yao sheng le, yao sheng le'
LOL.
Anyway, the funny thing is Kevin also dreamt of Da Sao giving birth, and he says it's a girl! I didn't dream of the baby coming out, haha. Girl or boy, as long as healthy and chubby can le!
On the other hand, this part is going to talk about something related to the deceased. Hmm, yeah, it's the QM Festival! (i'm not referring to SMU's Quatitative Methods course). The sights are:
a. Hot sun (i got sunkissed)
b. Fire and smoke (plenty of CO2)
c. Offerings (and ash sparkled food to eat)
d. Red eye (you get tears from the smoky air)
e. Tired legs (walk around to find the right tomb/urn or clutch in/out in the jam until your legs go cramp)
f. Horns (you honk at that stupid car/van/lorry/bus cutting into your lane)
g. Jams (since every stupid car/van/lorry/bus is cutting into your lane, the lane gets crowded and hence the jam)
h. Kids begging for ice cream/sweets/drinks (oh well, even me, not a kid, also does so, thanks to the hot sun)
i. Irritating aunties who think you stole their praying spot (come on, it's free for public)
Yeah, anyway we are done with all the respect given to the ancestors. So hopefully they feel good in the other world!
Hmm.. there are many things I would have liked to write but there isn't enough time to do so. I really wish for more time, less unexpected problems and more smoothness in my everyday life... haiz.
Okie, all the best to all who are having exams. May all of you do well and then can enjoy the holidays better!

Wow!
So many responses for the last post. Haha. Now we continue the discussion by linking songs to memories. I will end the post by talking about the weekend, I guess.
As we already mentioned, somehow some songs always can make us recall a certain stage of our life, or a certain scene. I wonder what kind of songs have the same effect on you? Well, let me list some of the songs for myself here...
Mid-era Jeff Chang Songs
=========================
Basically his later album with Rock Records, with EMI and the first album with Sony define the period of the 'super sad Jeff songs'. Those were the times we were fascinated by his crystal clear voice, mesmerised by his heartbreaking vocals. As for me, those songs were the hottest during my secondary years. Those years were also some of the unhappy years I had spent in my life. I shan't elaborate further but just take it that basically I comforted myself by using these songs as an outlet of my feelings (which I always felt nobody would understand anyway). Ah well, the fortunate side of this was an opportunity to polish my vocals as well. A slightly happier song '多想' was one of the better highlights as I was praised by a good friend of mine, Dan, when I was singing it while walking down the slope in our secondary school... hehe.
Eternal Love - PJ n Duncan
===========================
My first English album. On hindsight, it was a lousy album but it was memorable. It marked the era in which I began listening to pop music seriously. However, the incident that was unforgettable was that the song made me thought seriously about relationships... mm.. I was in primary 4 class and wondering which girl would I like.. haha.
爱火(Fire of Love) - 孙耀威
==========================
This song is memorable because it was the first direct criticism from a schoolmate regarding my lousy singing. I was actually singing it at home, when a schoolmate who went to my neighbour's home heard it (my neighbours and I are all same primary school). She ridiculed me when I met her in school and it got me on my nerves. Haha. I guess today I would have got rid of that 'lousy singer' tag.
被爱的女人 (The Loved Woman) - Coco Lee
======================================
This song reminds me of an idiotic person.
Addicted-to-You - Utada Hikaru
==============================
This song is the song which I used in my first audition for a stint in the music industry. Was a COMPLETE FLOP. =p Anyway it didn't discourage me much since I wanted to sing other songs more suitable for me but didn't have the -1 cd. Eventually I signed up for a short 3 month singing class there and learnt some basics of singing which I have been imparting to my various friends who would like to improve as well.
爱情森巴舞(Love Samba Dance) - Grasshoppers
==========================================
This is a retro dance song! Haha, somehow we had the cassette tape when we were younger. That time this song I can associate with boogie butt. Hahaha. Funny funny.
Take a Bow - Madonna
=====================
Madonna's hit! I think I mastered it in 1994 during my primary 5 years. Didn't really realise a difference between male and female voices but thought it was a real cool song. This song makes me remember of my first secret 'rendezvous'.. haha. Shall keep the meaning of 'rendezvous' vague. =p
Okie, I think there are other memorable songs but not as strong at the moment. Those songs follow my feelings at that moment I guess. Currently I am feeling very 'cute-ish' as Pika is sending me all the Pooh photos! Haha. Will show just 1 here =p (he's gonna whack me but heck, I just post 1 of the many he sent me)

Oh, we are also looking for the red spec baby pooh so if you manage to see it in any 7-11 when you pass by, please please please do let us know!
Finally, oh well, my weekend was spent interestingly =p. Just a rollercoaster of emotions, up, down, up~ Anyway think it's another week of emotional growth... grown to be more trusting, to be more loving. Hope you guys will enjoy the feeling of being loved and loving someone wholeheartedly ba!
Bleaching

PS: Jinki, I watched until eps 32 le! Bwahahaha~
