Woo, looks like all know that I'm back from Genting Highlands. However I am still in the midst of rushing through projects, work and a whole slew of committments that I need your kind patience to wait for my photos to be compiled and selected for the blog. Guess I will upload the photos to a photo storage page online and then select a few ones to put on the blog ba.

Yeah, there's so much things to do nowadays that life sucks big time. Sometimes I just feel like hiding in Genting and not come back anymore. But of course, I got so many things to do that I just have to come back to do them. That's life.

To think that the love story from the previous post was pretty welcomed, I guess we all are still in this stage of looking for the perfect love, therefore for some of us, the story does tug the strings of our hearts. Mm.. my imagination is marvellous right?

Okie, perhaps let's talk abit about the buildup to the trip before the next post where we can finally talk about the trip =)

As usual the day began with the need to go office for work. When 3pm came, I took my time to walk to Chinatown for ktv! Yeah! It was actually an event to celebrate Charles' birthday and the ever nicey me treated Charles to ktv and a meal. Haha. A few buddies joined in as well, Qinyi (codename Mr Lee), Jiaxing (codename JX), Leslie (codename Les KCS aka kanchiongspider), Mr Heng (codename 'CJ Spec aka cold joke specialist) and of course Charles and me. (dunno should codename Charles or not, but nvm for the time being). So the ktv went on pretty fine. I guessed I sang a few songs that were of normal standards but in my personal opionon I sang 枫 real well. Well of course la, my brother sings it like 1 trillion times at home. And actually, it's kinda like a signature song for Pikachu. Of course I must sing well, otherwise how to coach him =p. That was my last song I think and then the guys fought for the mike till the stupid ktv ended 5mins earlier than 7pm. Didn't complain since it was Charles' big day.

After that we went to Food Street to eat some zi char(aka budget seafood). Frankly, it's since been ages I ate zi char with friends. So we ordered quite a few dishes, cuttlefish you tiao, stingray, sweet&sour chicken, vegetables (i dunno the name), and also a bowl of wan ton soup. Heh. Guess we had a great meal but Les KCS asked if we wanted glutinous rice ball in peanut soup. Of course gian la, but too full le. So we declined. Somemore in my mind it was only Liverpool vs Manchester Utd in the FA cup lor. So we got to 7-11, got some drinks, chatted on the go regarding clubbing, drinking, and how not to get drunk, then we rode the MRT and went our ways home. JX and me went home to watch the match and yay, Liverpool won~

After the match I began to look at the tons of projects in my email. Then I began to start reading up and tried to write as much as I could. Eventually I told Pikachu I was not going to sleep since later can sleep on the bus. So before my trip what I did was to piah project! Piah until my brain cannot think properly, I began to pack my bag lor. 1 sling bag and 1 hand carry bag was adequate.

So the time flew till 3+am, but our meeting time was 5.30am, so I went to clip my nails, check my stuff, and bathed. 5.10am I was ready so I went to buy some batteries for our cameras in case they ran out mid way (with tips from Jinqi that Genting stuff was expensive, thanks!). 5.20am I caught Pikachu at home and his father helped him carry the gigantic bag he brought along for the trip. Haha. And yeah, waited for our bus to Queen St (851) and 5.45am we were on our way le! Cheers~ Interestingly, the one who didn't sleep was much much much alive than the one who slept. tsk tsk..

Well, this filler episode seems to have fulfilled its purpose, so look out for the Genting trip post soon!
