Okie, as the title suggest, my brother is back in camp from this week onwards. Hopefully he's training for his fitness as several S-League teams are holding trials. Unfortunately these teams are looking for youth players, so it will have to take connections to get him a trial. Did you know that Roy Keane wrote to the clubs to seek a trial session before he became a professional player? I suppose we will have to take this route if he really wants to be a player. Time is running out though...
The MPW presentation on Wednesday was gruesome. Firstly I wore pink as the group did not inform me to wear white, so I had to buy a white shirt. (Anyway I dont have a white shirt as the only one became another colour) so buying one is fine. In the end I bought it one at $73! Woohoo. This breaks my record of the jacket that cost me $70 a few years ago. Maybe next year CNY I will break this record again...but hopefully not. Anyway our team was still underdressed compared to all those who came in suits or at least tie. They are so rich! I think someday soon I may need a suit too... but if it's really required in school and work then I will get it. It's not easy to keep one as I have totally no idea how to maintain it. Anyway I digressed and the presentation turned out well although I was really tongue tied and said the word 'advancement' thrice as I keep getting the pronounciation wrong. Sigh. The eventual observation I gathered was that three of the teams had nearly the same best answer but their construction of the answers was better than us. I felt that we ought to have mounted a stronger challenge on the other teams by focusing on more creative initiatives but those were only better explained in our report instead of our presentation. Hopefully the report can bring us back on par with the best presenting teams. Looks like I need to score very well on the exam to get a respectable score...
Lessons are all over with the end of the last lesson of MPW, and now only 2 reports and 2 exams await me before we conclude the term. This term has been pretty special as I tried very hard to manage time between work, school and CCA. Luckily most have been very supportive and understanding. I must really thank them for that.
As I pored over BOSS again to see what should I do with my timetable, I decided to risk it by dropping my successful bids and rebid for the timings I really need to have a less-rushy timetable. I want to finish the Business Core as much as possible, so except for Ethics (which is pre-assigned) I will want to clear Qualitative Methods (QM), Marketing (MKTG), Technology and World Change (TWC, pre-assigned) and I will be taking Strategy (STR) first instead of International Economics A (IE A) as the timing of STR is much helpful than IEA. Hopefully I get all my 3 bids and I will be able to enjoy a good term next term. I am not sure how should I deal with next year's term 1 again as the majoring subjects will be coming in but I think they will still be dealable. Perhaps the work in office may change, which will also affect how I plan the timetable, but that's next year's headache. For the holidays I will apply for internship in my current workplace :p. That practically sums up the major plans for school for the early part of next year.
Well, this December holidays seems to be packed with plenty of activities. I look forward to having more mahjong and ktv sessions! However, these are all group activities which require some planning. Apart from that I will have to integrate new training programs so as to keep you guys on the disadvantage for the W segment of the WF Challenge. Heh. I will have to do it gradually from now onwards after finishing my contract with the FLU company, so perhaps will begin with some simple stuff like slow (but long jogs), swimming. And of course we have to start training for IVP for table tennis. I want to be selected into the playing team.. not the reserve team but man, my skills sucks. Haiz. Ever since Dan went into seclusion, I had never found any good table tennis khaki that is both tough and challengable...
The good old days...are now part of memories...how do we recreate them?

Define your own success and work towards it. There is no point looking at others' success and then not doing anything about it. Defining what is success to you is the first big step people never do because they only think that success is what others have achieved and what they have not. Try to differentiate your own targets from others and achieve success where others have not done so. That's the pioneering spirit!
