Yoz. Before we begin, I'm blogging while being half clad! I just went for a long distance run (dun wanna say how far cos Kev will sure nag me again), and after taking a hot shower, then washed down with a cold one, I'm still here drenched in sweat...
And that thanks to Kenneth and his friend, Ziyou, I went to alter the background colours to make it more suitable for reading. However, as my screen is yellowish, I am not very sure if it looks fine. Please do tell me if it's better than the previous one. On first glance I think it is easier for your eyes (so that you can endure reading the long posts I put up, wahaha)
Same thing let's recap what happened during the week....
Hmm...looks like nothing much happened except the ktv yesterday that I had at Kenneth's place. Originally we were supposed to visit Woodlands Partyworld, but due to a lack of able and available participants, we had to call it off. Fortunately, Kenneth invited me to his home for home ktv singing! Woo~~ Besides saving money on transportation and ktv, most importantly we could catch up a bit after the long and horrendous exams.
Now I was there around 3/4 past 2 in the afternoon, but we couldn't begin because his brother was having tuition. After the teacher left, I was wondering why his brother was half naked while having tuition (arh well, his teacher is a guy). Then Kenneth and his brother again joked ridiculously about how 'gay' the teacher looks. I took it for real and retorted that his brother ought to dress up for the tuition session...Anyway, it was also the first time I heard people from ITE had tuition... weird... apart from the first time seeing people having tuition half naked... hmm...just to give our female readers some space for imagination, his brother is real tall, slim, smooth and tanned. eh wait, this kind is more tempting for Charles... haha. (i sure kena whacked again....diaoz)
Okie sorry to make you read one paragraph of low class rubbish.
Kenneth sure has a huge selection of songs, albeit pretty limited. He is a Fish Leong, Elva Hsiao, Valen Hsu and Emil Chau fan... heh. But apart from this he had a Jacky Cheung DVD, a mix of other hits too... Haha. I tried a marathon of Valen Hsu's songs (a marathon of half songs though) but was stopped at the 7th because I didn't know what song it was. We also had a great time practising 手放开, 我还能爱谁,etc. Maybe next time I should buy karaoke discs that complement his, like David Tao, Lee-Hom, Jay Chou, Andy Lau, etc... He has a Jeff Chang disc but I didn't want to sing his songs... Ziyou came about 6+ (late for 1.75hrs at least, haha) and despite carrying a sore throat, he was able to churn some difficult songs albeit at a lower key than usual (and I guess the TCM from the roving TCM clinic was very effective, yeah)
Yep, so we had a great time there...thanks to Kenneth!
But one thing to ponder before I left his home, when asked if he wanted to join the 7 Seas brothers for a meal next week, his answer was "Do they still want to eat with me?"
Man, I was quite stunned for a moment, but of course, I am 200% sure we want to eat with you, Kenneth. In the evening when I spoke to Junkai, he asked me this time must catch you out for the meal! He wants to catch up with you...and I guess Kevin, Jinki, Alex they all also want too, just need to find a real good time for everyone to be available.
Tomorrow I will see a record breaking 3 girls coming to my home. It's been years since such a number of girls came. Okie, the truth is the last girl to come to my home before this year was Yingzie...and that was in....2000. Diaoz! Of course it's not easy trying to get friends to pop down at my home (many people choose to go out together instead... dun understand) let alone girls. And my mother has a weird phobia of girls of my generation. But oh well, as usual I break the pattern, break the rules.... haha. AND stop thinking of anything out of point, I have also got my army chaps down, like Chris who will help me run the MAHJONG class, and Charles, Sirong who will practise singing with me.... I tried to get my busy buddy Sergeant Heng to come but he's still busy as ever, so maybe get the usual Yishun gang... and perhaps Justin. Oh ya! Good, good. Then got people go back with Huiling.
Lastly, good news for everyone. SMU-NTU-NUS has all got together for the student discount scheme which will still be named Uni+vantage (read Univantage or Uni-advantage, get it?) You can imagine the number of discounts we will get. And one big thing is that boss is negotiating for the ENTIRE Bugis Street to be under the scheme. Of course the direct benefactors are SMU people! We are so near to them....haha.
Yep, catch everyone soon~
