Lalala..
A week full of small events in life...
Sunday - Met Jason, Dan and Pius. A long story to say, but like to say that being alone is really a difficult thing... while that special someone will spend her life with you forever after marriage, good friends have been with you before her and will be with you till forever too! :)
Monday - As usual, classes filled the day up. At night I took a long long trip to Tampines for an interview at Cinenow, an automated DVD rental company. Thought the job wasn't very interesting.. so asked for a delay for decision.
Tuesday - Morning was a rush to Tampines again for another job interview. Quite an interesting place and I was selected for the job as a customer service professional (this is stated in the employment contract). Anyway it's a call centre job for Tiger Airways / McDonalds delivery so maybe one day you will hear me when you dial those lines! Hahaha. Next, din manage to hand up Finance HW... still have yet to get the textbook. Before finance class I finally met up with Cindy, Zhengchang, Salina and Cheri for BGS discussion proper (a short 40min discussion) so the BGS project has begun..After that I was at a SmartMoney workshop where I played a game similar to Cashflow. Learnt a bag of money making tricks from the game.. heh. Share with you next time, or ask me on MSN ok?
Wednesday - Was late for Business Law lesson, missed the fun part where the first group presented the first case analysis, heard it was an 1.5hr debate (wow)... I kinda like the class, but I dun have time to prepare for the case studies, as we need to go library to loan the book for photocopying...sianz. Some improvement for class participation as I answered the Prof regarding what are 'options' in terms of home buying. And also it was Jinki and Yenmei's birthday. Jinki would have his celebration on Fri with us and Yenmei got a present from me...Happy birthday!! After passing her the present I rushed to meet my BGS team for an outfield research at Leng Kee. Had a good meal, chat and project discussion with them at Redhill food centre and Tiong Bahru Mac. But I had to leave early to go back to school for a meeting. Was stuck in Orchard for sometime.. late for the meeting, but since I was only a new chap, not much stuff for me...
Thursday - Wanted to go school early but ended up sleeping past 10. The past few days I had only 4-5 hours sleep and obviously that isn't enough for an idiot like me.. it didn't make up though for i slept at 4am actualli.. haha. MA was interesting too as there was a sudden test.. I didn't score well, but it was interesting because there was a SUDDEN test. I like that...makes the playing field level for people like me who don't mug. Hahaha.
Friday - Went for a training session at my workplace, and soon another few days more I will be picking up calls on the Tiger Airway ticketing hotline. My upperstudy is also called Jeff, but he's not as shuai as any Jeff I know :p (i dun mean i'm more shuai than him either).
After that I rushed to school from TP central via bus 67. As I had only 2 hrs of sleep(stayed up to prepare a compilation of Sweetest Love Songs for my dear bro, Jinki, as a birthday present *cost cutting measure*), I fell asleep in the bus and yeah, miss the bus stop. When I got up it was at Serene Centre (phew) so I alighted and walked back to school.
Was late for Analytical Skills class.. 5mins... After class, rushed to meet NianFen to collect a contract from her and rushed for MIC meeting with my lunch still in its box(bought at TP central before boarding the bus). Luckily the meeting did not start as planned, so I stole 5mins to dunk my lunch into my stomach.
My first singing at MIC was Jay Chou and Wendy's Rooftop. Think they liked my singing... i think so. Haha. Had a great time suggesting tons of improvement to MIC, finally some contribution to the CCA and straight after the meeting I ran to the sports hall to play table tennis, still wearing jeans... Played with the ex President of TT club, Qingyao and lost 3-0, 11-8, 11-7, 11-8, which I think not bad la.. considering a week ago I was losing 11-1, 11-2 that kind of score.. if weekends there were people to train that will be good.. but Dan doesn't want to play with me.. sianzzzz.
After training I rushed to Jinki's home only to find that everyone else was later than me..haha. Junhao didn't manage to come despite my one week notice... next time have to book him a month in advance... arghz. But Clarissa came.. yoohoo! Haven't seen her for years. We had a great time as usual, ate so much.. super full but still couldn't finish the food. I don't understand why because we only spent $40 odd for 13 people and still had 1/3 of the food left...hmm.. the cake selected by me was very nice.. Yam taste..haha.
Caught the last bus with Alex and incidentally met Dan on the bus.. he looks like some HK superstar with long hair and unshaven chin..haha.. had a long chat with Alex who shared his experience with me, he said he understood what Dan was going through and told me stand by for him but dun flood him with too many questions... I am glad to hear heartfelt stuff from Alex...in the past he used to prefer saying things to Kevin and Junhao...heh. Glad everyone had changed to be more open and frank with one another.
Saturday - I didn't sleep the whole night to morning, could only get to bed at 8am and had a nap till 10+am...mum couldn't cook lunch on time so I went to school for project on an empty stomach...had the best project discussion for this year for Biz Law project with Robin, Eugene and Weijian.. yay!
After the project meeting on the way to the bus stop, got to know that Eugene plays Cashflow and he has the board game itself! Wow!! Next time can play with him le.. haha.
Rushed home to put my stuff and went to meet Yongqing/Aston (ex colleagues from the aiport job) for WE challenge. Pro Evolution Soccer 4 (PES 4) is so updated! I will want a copy of that game soon....have to save some money for that.. I beat Yongqing's best team(AC Milan) with my best team (Ajax), scoring 4-2 (actually he scored 2 own goals :P, oei it's difficult to make ppl score own goals ok..) then in all drew with YQ 2matches to 2 matches and beat Aston 3matches to 1. Haha. Trashed his MAN U with R Madrid. Den YQ sent me home on his car.. he drives damn fast.. scary.
And got home only to find my brother sleeping and nobody arrived yet.. Hmmmm.. I invited many people to come to watch soccer mah.. In the end Jinki and Kevin arrived first and followed by Justin (the tall guy with long hair..), Guiqiang (the tanned skinny chap), Jiaxing (the Newcastle supporter), Qinyi(the muscular cute guy), and finally our dear Charles!
I need to say sorry to him because he was the only guy who finally stayed over and because I couldn't tahan anymore, I went to bed before him and he ended up sleeping on the wooden seat.. so uncomfortable! 100x sorry!! So next time if you stay over at my humble abode, if I collapse before you (usually I'm quite a late night still awake guy, esp when playing mahjong..) u muz wake me up so that I can arrange your sleeping place ok? Aiya.. on hindsight I ought to have prepared in advance.. sigh. A lousy host I am!
Anyway Liverpool lost to arch-rivals Man Utd.. I've long given up on Liverpool and pledged allegiance to Monaco instead (look at my wrist-rings - red and white!)
Sunday - Woke up and of course the first thing was, ya hor, when did Charles sleep.. so the story has been told and we had breakfast downstairs before I sent him home while on the way to school.
Did my project slides, had a long chat with Akie and Chris, both overseas and manage to come out with new Jeffire quotes to cheer Akie up! Heh. And Chris sent me some video filmed during their street soccer competition...Chris played like some 70s football star.. not modern style wan.. And after finishing my segment, was too tired to think and kept talking to them until my mother dialled from Malaysia to ask me to buy 4D for her.
As time was ticking off, I apologised to them and left to find a place with a short queue. Finally bought it at Sixth Avenue for the first time and then for memorial purposes I bought a Toto ticket there.. hope I win money! I need it for a nice CNY haha.
Anyway, I bought the wrong number for my mum...oops. And after that went home, had dinner with my brother and now I'm blogging this long long entry while Singapore is battling Indonesia at the National Stadium.. very long never see the stadium filled up with red colour except on National Day.. and Singapore is leading 1-0! My brother bought Away-away (ie Indonesia to lead at half-time and win at full time) which seems to have no chance.. haha. Singapore is having a good roll!
Okie.. see you again on MSN and when I got time I will update you with my life again!
Oh ya... this is the Jeffire quote.. I put it as my MSN nick at this moment in case u din see it...
- "If you are happy for at least 13hrs each day, you will be happy for most of your life~"
Ain't I right? Akie, Joyce, and all my friends... hope you guys get what I mean... feel free to talk to me when you are sad ok? Try my best to be available for you...:) This leads me to the second Jeffire quote of the day,
- "It's my job to make everyone happy (while making myself happy)"
and finally the last quote
- "I'm happy to be on the queue waiting for love".
Heh.. *hugz hugz*
Best Regards
Jeffire
