Happy New Year!

Jan has begun with the most dramatic (love drama) experience I ever had! And of course it was the best start I could ever dream of. Here's the sequence of events that followed till 1 Jan 05.

The 7seas had just returned from JB with their stomachs full, wallets half empty and a ton of fun experiences from shopping, eating and sharing experiences! So many interesting stories..hehe.

Jinki, Junkai and I were on the train back home. Jinki had decided not to meet his dream girl despite promising her that he will spend the moments before the new year with her and also he bought her a necklace in JB.. Junkai the love expert then psychoed him with fantasy thoughts like champagne, candles and stuff...I was saying I could drive him there so that he will not break his promise...

30 secs before reaching Khatib, he finally relented and decided to pop by my home for a bath and so that I could send him there...oh well, on the way back he stopped by NTUC to get the props and I went home first to get ready.

We were already at Jurong East, Corporation Rd as directed by Jinki to me. Unfortunately, we couldn't locate the mystical block no..we even stopped by the road to asked the passer-bys about where was it and they all gave general directions..

We combed the entire Jurong West Ave 1 but didn't manage to find the place...were very anxious...as the driver who had not much sleep the day before, I had to keep cool to ensure safety on the road although I admit that we did speed on the way to Jurong..

The red lights made us stop at a junction. Despite being on the right lane, Jinki decided to alight and rushed for the taxi which has stopped on the opposite side of the road due to the red lights as well. He then took the taxi without telling me anything, and he also took his props along, less the present..kaoz.

I was still combing the area and prayed that he reached there. As his phone was out of battery, he actually used mine to stay in contact with the girl...so we were off contact with each other.. I couldn't find the place despite asking for directions.

I recalled a something Jinki mentioned when we were in the van..."3 stops away from Lakeside mrt on bus 98". Actually I drove past the mrt station once but I kept thinking Lakeside was nearer to Jurong East rather than Chinese Garden. Of course I was lucky that the trains were running late and I stopped at the Chinese Garden(I found out after I checked the station lobby) and saw the map..the place we were looking for was not on the map, so I had to get to Lakeside MRT...

I reached Lakeside MRT and just left the vehicle at the taxi stand to check the map again but the place wasn't on the map..so I went to the bus stop instead and took a hard look at the buses and their directories. From another unrelated bus I realised that the place we were going was Corporation DRIVE. My brother had told me the wrong road name!

I finally reached the destination and phew, he was there with the girl...hahaha.. we were happy that the mission was a success though we missed the time target...

Put the present Jinki prepared on his seat so that he gets a chance to go back to give it to her.. luckily he remembers and takes it to her even before they part.

I listened to the radio while waiting for the couple to finish their chat..as I was bored, I chatted to Kevin using Jinki's line. Blah..it was free incoming anyway. Haha. Thanks a million to Kevin for staying up!

At last mission was over and successfully completed. We decided to go meet Kevin for some updates and discussions about some big issues and also about this adventure...

I finally reached home at 6.20am! Slept till 10.20am before my mum was unhappily saying that they could go for the World Peace Mass Praying at Loyang (it was featured on the news) to help out without me...I got up feeling heavy headed (I know my deep sleep status begins roughly at the 3.5hr mark..argh). Unfortunately my colleagues who was supposed to go ECP and also steamboat dinner postponed the event to the next weekend..not sure if I will go this time...

Since dinner was empty, my mother asked me to drive back to Yishun to fetch my brother.. We had a frantic rush to bathe and go buy 4D, soccer. I could only catch Sgt Qinyi for dinner so went to fetch him.. Reached Loyang at 7.30pm as I couldn't find the site..argh.. then Qinyi and I had dinner at ECP Lagoon Hawker...yum..the char siew wanton mee was opened! i had that and shared dumpling soup and fried carrot cake with him while he had hokkien mee...heh. then we went back to loyang to fetch everyone and finally he got to bishan at 11pm...i was lost again when going from sengkang to bishan! sorry!!!! can't believe the moving bus and streeting directory (me) can get lost 5 times in one day! SADZ.

Watched some soccer but by the 70th min I was knocked out and my bets lost at the very last few mins....arghz. hard luck..

Today was a great day as we collected the DVD we bought from JB as well as I won the mahjong game and had a good dinner with Jinki at his home with his family. I guess if his family adds a new member soon they have to thank me for it! (and Junkai too!) hahaha...

Despite watching a real live love drama from the van's side mirrors, I dunno if I am ready for such a thing.....i'm still too childish,idealistic, dumb and poor...haha. well well, too bad ah..

Resolutions on 2005 remain on the GoalPosts section, they are largely in line with my birth year resolutions but probably some other resolutions include improving my singing, being more friendly to people in school, improving my driving skills, bridging the 7seas and many more. i have thirst for improvement (non academic :p) and most probably u can see me doing weird stuff again to achieve my goals...

Never underestimate your own potential! Feel free to talk to me on all the BAD and GOOD stuff in life.. i will listen! *But dun call me at night...I dun have night free-incoming..haha. if you want i can call u instead!

Ok, all the best to everyone for the new year and Happy Birthday to Akie (3 Jan), Jinki (12 Jan), Yenmei (12 Jan) and Rika (28 Jan, hope I remembered correctly)! Any other Jan babies which I can't remember please scold me so that I will remember next year!
