Friday at GQ's home I took a photo of the dark sky...how nice a view you've got living on the 11th floor! Too bad my father has phobia of heights, so we can't get a flat high high up..

29 May 04, Farewell cum 11th KTV Challenge
These are the photos of the participants. Too bad this time I din get to sing with all the guys...ok, leslie learnt how to sing SHE songs with less effort by minusing keys...

qinyi n leslie
Before the ktv, i went to lim chee guan to get this! i bought this for Francis as a birthday present...and he said it was veri nice. Since I have yet to try it out for myself, I went over to buy 100g of chilli and another 100g of non-chilli. So paiseh, as the woman before me was a tourist and she bought like $100+ worth of bbq sliced pork...mine was $7.80. hahahaha. but it was really nice.

bbq pork from lim chee guan! *yum*
Couldn't get a nice foto of our yandao Sirong...

Sirong
Offered my bak kua to everyone, but only Charles the most greedy, got a huge slice out...

charles eating my bak kua
woah. i wished i had a nicer foto of Qinyi for keepsake. Hahaha.

qinyi close up (no justice to his yandaoness)
Gordon! Gordon is indeed one of the best singer around. His manly voice is woooooo!

gordon with a sentimental song
Sirong stole a snap at the waitress. I think she was pretty tired out, having to listen to all sorts of lousy singing while she lingered around to do her job. I think the waitress in Ex F-Pursuit was prettier ba...

the waitress...(no it's not a new horrow show)
Yongxin first joined our KTV challenges.. he's a cantopop king! And seems like specialise in Nicholas Tse cantopop. However, to be frank, he ought to learn how to sing and not shout. Not every song is rock!

a new participant, YongXin
I left an hr early to meet up with my parents. We had to go to Hello! shop to terminate my residential line and my mother's mobile line. Unfortunately, it was unnecessary! We walked and walked from Suntec City all the way down to Citylink. Wasted sia. While waiting for my mother's visit to the washroom, I took a photo of this... when i first saw this brand a few years ago, i was quite stunned at the use of the word in public places...i din know it was a fashion brand...haha. Sua ku (mountain tortoise)..

the last foto i taken at Citylink
Eventually, we walked back from Citylink all the way to the foodcourt, had dinner and then visit Carrefour. It was a big mistake. My mother went on to buy this and that, and also went to fight for the 'buy one get one free sushi'. Aiyo, when they say buy one get one free for sushi, surely, their time is up soon! Anyway the tamago sushi (egg sushi) indeed was past its time when we got back in the van. A whole 30mins were spent choosing cheap DVDs from the Multimedia section. Buyers beware! Although the packaging looks good, sometimes you get the karaoke without the mtv (imagine all the scenery and women dancing kind of karaoke), so just take caution. The music ain't that good anyway. Probably you can get those with the music labels (like EMI, Universal, etc) on them... dun be fooled by the $8.90 per DVD price tag!
So in the end we got home at 1140pm, watched how Crystal Palace ended up soaring to the Premier League, and that was the end of the Saturday...

Today I am a postman.
First stop was to Jinki's home. He told me he recently dyed his hair but since he couldn't send any photo to me, I went to his home to see him instead. We chatted abit on some little stuff while watching Seabiscuit... Since my mother left my brother's phone at home, I brought it along to take photos. Here are the 2 that I took for the day.
This photo below is my beloved 7sea big brother...hehe.

jinki *sexy*
This is his dog...haha. I met this dog first time today. Usually Jinki's home isn't locked so I would just walk in, but because of the dog's outgoing personality, they bolted the gate. I went in myself without ringing any bell, keeping calm while the dog barked a little at me. And luckily it din bite me! Hehehe.

jinki's dog
Before I left, I forgot to take another photo of him in the bright daylight. It would have shown his highlight and body betta...sigh. (haha)
2nd Stop was to Pius' home. Nothing much as I just left his cd outside his door and smsed him to collect it himself.
3rd stop was to Dan's home. He wasn't at home. I knocked and knocked because he said his father was at home, and the tv was blaring. But I had to wait for 10mins before the door opened after I dialled in. Oops, sorry uncle, I din know you were bathing...haha. Passed him my brother's table tennis bat which he said he wanted to buy, the condition of the bat is usable, but the brand tags are missing, so there's a hole there on the bat's ...haha.
Next was to Kenneth's home. I returned the game Narutimate Hero to him. Quite a fun game but it was boring pretty soon having to spend time collecting so many stuff.
Lastly was to GQ's home. I gave him the Fatal Frame 2 game which I wasn't playing for the time being. No point keeping it with me so let him have it.
Ok, so that's all for today. I still haven't done anything on the manual I promised Francis! Oh no!!!!

Today's quite a memorable day. It marks the start of a length of absence from the office... While I am at home, I have actually took some of the non-classified projects back to do, like WITs and the likes of it. This will help to fill up some void while I enjoy doing nothing at home. I guess I never really enjoy doing nothing, so I have marked out some activities I would like to do over this period. Lastly, unfortunately, I will have to be on standby to answer to my successor's questions if need be, as he is still unable to cope with the huge demand and the high standards set by a new boss. I pray that he will be able to grasp a way of working faster. This goes the same for our documentation clerk, Winston, who had been buried under a gigantic pile of work...
The table tennis tournament finally ended (for us) on Wed with a 5-0 trashing by the Commandos. In the end we will most likely get 11th out of 14 teams, with just a win to our name. I do hope next year the in-charge will view the sports more seriously and improve the way they prepared for the tournament, which was seriously inadequate. However the tournament has reignited my love for the game and probably I may just continue playing in university for leisure purposes.
The 2003/2004 Champions League season has finally ended with FC Porto from the Portuguese league claiming the trophy. So much for all the hype surrounding the top teams in Europe. Now FC Porto joins in as part of the top teams in Europe, yet their manager is leaving for greener pastures, possibly the money-lush Chelsea. Wherever he goes isn't my business but let's wish him success in his future endeavours. Likewise, for Monsieur Houllier too, who has just been sacked from my favourite English club, Liverpool FC. I felt that it was too abrupt, since Houllier had achieved the minimum target set. He should had been given another chance, but oh well, let's hope the new manager that comes in will be able to inspire the Reds to play top European football.
I've updated the itinerary to the Malacca trip. The main changes are that I shortened the trip by a day and included an offshore island beach visit as well. Read it here. Hope at least more person can join us..
Yesterday went Northpoint's Bengawan Solo with GQ n QY. They were looking for a cake for Vicky. Why I was with them is because we were all arrowed to do fatigue duty which started after office hours, 1730hrs and ended till 2000hrs. Anyway I saw this Pokemon cake..aww. I wished I had a camera phone to take it down to show you, but I ain't got any. Hahaha. Wonder if I should pick Pikachu or Psyduck..they are both so cute! Anyway, I won't be celebrating my 21st birthday, but I do hope it will fall in between the matriculation/orientation period so that there will be people spending it with me. Hahaha. It doesn't really matter at this stage, I guess. Gotta set new resolutions for the 21st year of life though...
This morning I met Ms Uma at the front gate. Sheepishly greeted her 'good morning' but at that moment I forgot her name until I entered the camp's gate. So in the end that was all. Hahaha. I doubt she remembers me anyway since she's one of the so called 'heck-care, just teach' that sort of teachers. Maybe I should return to school one day to visit my mentors, probably on a better occassion than any plain day as they would be very busy. I hope they are all doing fine..
2 of my 7Seas brothers encountered some problems related to their love life recently. The eldest is currently on a cross-road, waiting to cross over to the street opposite called 'overseas education'. The problem with studying abroad is just that you will have to put down everything you have here and start afresh there. I guess he's feeling confused about it these days without much knowledge of the life he is going to spend overseas. Should he or should he not pop the question. (This is kinda drama to me...) Tomorrow I will pay him a visit to take a look at how he 'vented' his frustrations by dying his hair. Haha. The other brother, my 3rd brother, had just broken up with his girlfriend. Not that they had spent a long time together nor this isn't his first relationship, but perhaps it came at the wrong time. Just when he was getting more freedom to be able to spend more time with her, things had to become like this. Sigh, should I blame the organisation for the many many breakups I heard about, all due to the fact that the guy had less time to spend with the girl? The same old typical story, boy goes NS, girl goes university, girl finds a new, better, mature guy in university while boy struggles with life in camp, girl finds her feelings for boy dwindling day by day, and finally, the inevitable. On the other hand, there are so many touching love stories in war, man goes war, woman waits at home for him to return. Optimistically, man returns with/without victory safe and sound, the family is happy. Pessimistically, man is KIAed, woman doesn't know till the end of war, she either commits suicide or spend the rest of her life alone or with the children in hand...
Perhaps it's just simply that it takes 2 hands to clap. Singaporean girls are typically more demanding in terms of attention and reception. If you cannot provide them with the attention and understanding they want, that's it. So guys reading this, it's time you wake up! (it seems like i'm on the venus' side...oops, it's more like trying to please them so that i get a chance to get nearer...bwahaha)
Regardless of what has happened, I sincerely pray that everyone can put things behind and look forward to the next better one.

Sunday Sunday, a sunny day...
Just came back from The BIG WALK a while ago. This year's walk was quite boring, as the route was changed, resulting in less scenery to view. In addition, the construction of the Circle Line and the Paya Lebar/Kallang Expressway made the air dusty, the road crowded and the view ugly. However this year my family joined the 7seas brothers (kinda extra?) so it was a slightly different experience for me! I also saw lotsa cute guys, beautiful ladies, uncles, aunties and hahaha, Fa Lun Gong again! Kaoz...
Yest was pretty much a bored morning in camp. An exhibition held in SAFTI attracted a huge bunch of our guys to go there so there wasn't many people around to play soccer. Anyway, in the end it was YongXin+Charles+Alvin VS Me+Guiqiang+Yaohong on the clay court with the 5 steps long goal. Technically my team is indeed better, but the result ended up 3-0 early. Nevertheless, I stepped up a gear and pulled one back soon, scoring a goal to the bottom right corner and making Charles look silly when he just froze in front of goal.. Then we slackened again and conceded one more with a desperate goal line save gone wayward and goalbound by Guiqiang.. So one more step on the gas and I got the goals through a header (sorry to YongXin when the goalbound header hit him), a round-the-last-defender-and-tap-in goal, a chip-in right in front of the goal, and lastly a throw in assist! Hahahaha...what a week of goals..
In the evening I was busy researching on the mid year trip to Malacca...and finally I finished it. You can visit it here . Any comments, suggestions please kindly advise me...
So Man U won the FA Cup against little Millwall.. a boring game..
Ok, it's time to sleep...I slept at 0030 and woke up at 0610..yawnzzz

Irrashyaimase!
Like the new changes I made? I changed the colours (again!?) and then added a 'comments' thingy at the end so that maybe if you got anything you wanna say you can just dump it here..haha.
Today had a half day in camp...played soccer with 23SA guys on the whole green field as the clay court wasn't available due to IPPT. Justin, JX, SR, and I were in the same team with some others 23 SA guys, out of which, I only knew ZH and Joe's twin bro (though I dunno his name and he doesn't know me). Hahaha. If I was not wrong the score ended 8-6 with my team winning at the time we left. I scored 3 out of the 8! Hahaha! However it was super tiring to be always running to and fro on the field. Guess it's because we usually play on the smaller clay court.
Wednesday I was at the Int Fmn Table Tennis tournament. My captain KY put me to the slaughter on the first singles slot. Well, it was my first time playing Singles so I didn't fare well to my standards and lost. I felt that if I could play as normal I would have won...sigh..Anyway our team eventually lost 1-4 to the Engineers before a new tactical switch gave us our first win of the competition with a 5-0 scoreline against 6 Div. I was put on the mixed doubles and luckily they didn't have a female player so we walked over. Haha. My first win in a doubles..last year for the entire competition from InterUnit to Int-Fmn I never won a single doubles match...so this must be a stroke of luck!
Just read a few new blogs, HS and SY's blogs. Come to think of it, I've known SY for years but only now then knew she got a blog. My eyes must be blind..haha. SY & HS, so hope you dun mind I read your blogs then... Anyway, after reading thru, just would like to say it was very nice to get to know you people and hope to apologise if I spoilt that day...well, things are always Yi Ci Sheng Liang Ci Shu..so you noe (haiz, I can't write chinese on this cos I dunno how..)
Alright. Dinner time and also time to do some stuff..been slacking the whole afternoon since I returned from camp. Luckily I've finished watching Episode 84 of Naruto...haha. Have to wait another week for the next one liaoz..sigh.

The weekend started with me being home on Friday as I was on leave. Met up with JK to sign up for The Big Walk next Sun. Heard the rest not signing up, so wonder if they will come or not. Regardless of that, I guess it's still quite a fun thing to do because I can get to see lotsa different groups of people.
Sat wasn't very eventful, except for the LIFE run at ECP in the morning. Was kinda late for the meeting up in the wee hours in the morning cos I spent the night real late watching NARUTO. Slept from 1 till 630am! Not really enough sleep for the run but 6km is not really a big problem to me.. However I was totally shagged out in the afternoon so I had a nap before my parents came back. My aunt and cousin were with them too as we had a dinner with my grandmother(my dad's mum). It was her birthday cum mother's day celebration. Sad to say, under my mother's influence, I have not prepared anything for her birthday. My mother never liked my grandmother much as she felt she treated my dad unfairly, depriving him of a proper education etc. I guess life was bad for most people that time and thus being the eldest (my other uncles died early) he had to work to support the family. Anyway the dinner was great, especially the cake! It was a fruit cake. Unfortunately nobody brought any camera. My mum also forgot to bring my bro's phone otherwise we could have used it to take photos. After the dinner we rushed back to watch football, and I have to apologise to GQ for making him wait for 15min at my void deck! I rushed up to my home immediately after I stepped out of the van and I didn't realise he was waiting downstairs. Sigh. Anyway I couldn't really enjoy the match because my stupid brother kept disturbing him with all the army questions.
AGAIN, I slept late, watching NARUTO again. Sun morning it was time for some street soccer at the same old place outside YJC. I was the 3rd person to reach there. The 2 other guys whom we met some weeks ago were there too. Anyway my brother shone through the whole game again, scoring 7 goals in the process. I only had one goal to my name. Sigh. One of the 2 guys had a bad injury on the sole and I bought some handiplast for him to put on his soles but we couldn't continue playing as the place were flooded with other strangers. In the afternoon I tried to catch up reading my newspapers (thursday's copy yet to read!) Then we had dinner together at home, before my parents sent my brother to Pasir Ris for him to return to Tekong. I guess he bugged nearly every friend of mine regarding army stuff. SIGHHHHHHHHHHH! I hate listening to army stuff now. Anyway I continued watching NARUTO again till 1am AGAIN since I needn't report to camp the next day.
Today, I spent the whole day watching NARUTO! Scary sia. How did I manage to chalk up 10hrs in front of the computer watching anime? Anyway I laughed and cried while watching the anime as there were both super funny parts and super sad parts.... now I am kinda like fantasising which character I would prefer to be...haha. Anyway I watched from episode 50 - 83....kaoz.... so now I have to wait for the weekly release so as to continue to watch the series. BUT I've got no more disk space. I even used up my old hdd drive to take away my bro's movies downloads. That's 6gb away but NARUTO takes up 14gb of my 37gb harddisk. Kaoz...now I need to get a new harddisk if i want to keep the anime.
Tomorrow going back to camp for half a day for table tennis training and to get scolded. I think I better go sleep now...haha.
Feel free to discuss with me things about NARUTO, lifestyles, your future, travelling and education now, but not army stuff... OK?
Regards
Jeffire

Today the whole day was doing all the table tennis stuff. Finally got the team sorted out. The rules state we need to have a veteran single and a mixed doubles. There goes my chance at a shot at the 3rd single slot. Anyway todae I played quite well, smashing my way through three of the teammates but ended losing to my doubles partner of last year. Hahaha. It must have been overconfidence. Well, broke another record today by returning to office at 1030hrs. So late! But being covered by CPT David's email, and also being part of the ORD contingent, nobody said anything to me.
Yesterday was a very memorable day. First time went KTV with so many powerful singers. Even last time the grp I joined from some forum website (can't rem the website liao) wasn't as good. Let me try recalling the people yesterday...
1. SY - I got to know SY from my sec sch fren, but eventually knew her better through icq, and more recently MSN. With her aid, I was introduced to her gal pals and bfs..SY's singing has improved since the last time I met her, probably a year ago!?
2. TR - TR is SY's bf. He's quite a funny chap. Didn't talk much to him, mabbe cos we are not really veri onz with strangers ba? Anyway his singing (sorry to SY) is only average for chinese songs, but for english he sounds much much better.
3. XH - Quite a cool, stylo gal. Also din get to talk to her much (mabbe that's y i think she's cool?) She din really sing much yesterday, so really can't say anithing abt her. And to think I have been reading her blog...oh man. Hope I don't offend her without telling her abt me reading a blog. Budden I did leave a msg once on her blog wishing her good health....
4. HS - This is one of the most 'power' gal i ever met. She speaks really clearly! Chinese *two thumbs up* English *two thumbs up too* My japanese sux, otherwise could have tried talkin to her in jap. She sings quite well too...a great voice. And she's kinda a cutesy gal kinda character..hee.
5. JE - One of the most stunning singers I ever met. Whenever she talks she reminds me of Ella....another really cool gal. Power sia. Her singing is superb! She's also quite bubbly and humourous type... hope next time can challenge her to more singing cos she sure can gimme a tip or two..
6. WS - Din really get to talk to her although she sat the nearest, with only her bf in between. Anyway she's another cool gal that sings pretty ok.
7. ER - This guy is a cool man. Sings with an accent...and he uses 'ku1 qiang1' most of the time...not a typical skillful singer but quite soulful...
So the whole night was a struggle. Firstly it was the cold cold aircon coupled with my poor dressing. (I must blame my office work for givin me inadequate time to go back, let alone change, and for your info, i went to the MRT straight from camp). Secondly was the stupid choice of the drink. I picked Milo because i have been 'brainwashed' by my officialmates of the track and field (time keeping)..this whole grp they like to gamble with iced milo! haha it was so funni seeing them disturb the runners cos they bettin on who's 3rd, 2nd..not the usual betting style. So I kena addicted to ice milo...but it is not the drink u shud take in ktv...3rdly, it's been since long that i last went out with so many females present...so u noe i felt super awkward the whole night. What I could try to mix in was to sing their songs...but it kinda din work...(mabbe i shud have stuck with the guy songs, budden usually our unit ktv challenge i alwiz sing alot of gal songs...) Aiz. Luckily the whole night quite enjoyable. Dunno if they look down on people from YJC or not...cos like when HS asked me if I am going NUS or NTU, I replied neither and said I was going SMU, kinda out of place. Haha. Watever. Nevertheless, despite the tiring nite (reached home at 12+am, and woke up 0615 today!), it was indeed a well spent night.
Tomorrow I am on leave (finally) Gonna clear up my room. My parents asked me to cook spagetti but I am not sure if I want to make the effort so...haiz. Tiring sia. Also dunno if I should go airport and receive the 3 guys back from Thailand..hahahaha. But then I forgot to get the exact flight details. Only know it's Silkair flying back from Thailand (fei hua) and WH says it's at 2010...not sure if I shud go to the airport or not. Kinda extra leh..
Well, Castle yesterday drew with the Saints and now Pool is definitelty 4th! Woah. Congrats to Owen, Gerrard and Co.

Hallooooooo
The long awaited, hated meeting ended todae with lotsa open questions waiting to be answered. First time see Chief so angry...even CO Sch he also scream and stare at him. Anyway it's all over and it's time to say goodbye to all the work soon.....juz another few projects and items to teach before the handover.....woooo.. haha...anyway these few days quite jialak. Fri stayback till 9+pm, Sat stayback till 5pm, and Sun on duty, and todae stayback till 7pm...kaoz. The last time life was so bad was also around the same period when I went for table tennis competition. But that time at least i went for table tennis then come back to stay back, this time is whole day in the office...kaoz. anyway the competition is starting next week liao so prob this time all the work somebody else will do...haha. i will submit my leave schedule tomolo and see if my boss agrees to it... if so, from next week onwards it will be not that easy to see me around..haha
Today I reached home later than expected, and hence could't bring my present over to Tazzy's place. Fortunately his actual birthday is on Tuesday! Haha. Cos he held his party on Sun but I couldnt go due to duty...Anyway as my parents return later than expected i decided to flex my muscles again and cook dinner. My mother told me to take out some fish to cook, but the fish were either too small a piece or too big a trout. In the end i picked out the 'red grouper' (issit spelled like dat?) but it was frozen with 3 pieces stuck together. In the end I had to defrost it. Yet I was too anxious so the piece of fish i wanted tore...aiz. Luckily it was still in one piece though it was quite pathetic looking. Other stuff from the fridge came in the form of leftovers.
Here's what I took :
a. A half cut cabbage that was spoiling on the surface..., b. 3 sticks of hotdogs that were frozen and defrosted too many times that discolouring was evident...
c. A half dried up stalk of spring onion....
d. Some cut raw mushrooms from the last meal....
e. Cheddar cheese bought by my mother 2 mths ago..
In the end this was what we had :
a. Shredded cabbage with sliced hotdogs in cheese coating..
b. Steamed 'red grouper' with mushroom and spring onion..
Hahaha. The molten cheese taste so niceeeeee..but abit salty to my liking. Then the fish the sauce that was produced from the steaming tasted great! The mushroom were so soffffffffffftttttttt.... woah... but the fish was still broken and so it looked pathetic. haha... but one of my best efforts so far. Well, my best dish ever made was spagetti...it was tot by Jinki's mother! haha. then other food i cooked before and was praised include instant noodles (for its QQ chewy taste), Fruit Cocktail in Watermelon (for its cooling effect in the bbq), Almond agar (for its sweet and smoothness), and lastly spagetti (for the great sauce)! haha. usually my weird cooking not to people liking leh....like todae's cheese cabbage my father din noe it was cheese, he tot it was salad...haha. what to do sia....all this was done in 1 hr time..neway this weekend got ppl come my home watch soccer so prob will cook spagetti dinner....dunno if i shud charge cover fee or not cos quite expensive to cook for so many ppl..haha.
tml still got track n field time keeper duty. sigh. suppose to go meet up with the table tennis team to trash out the final details...sigh... too bad la. kena such arrow...
then the fun thing is this wed going with the so called 'milo gang' to ktv. why they call themselves 'milo gang' i not veri sure but maybe when i see SY i'll ask her. mabbe it's something similar to our 7seas brothers setup....anyway it's a huge challenge to go with so many girls..aiz. i not sure if i can sing to my best sia..haha. scaly see so many gals i scared sia...
okok. this fri i on leave so got time to clear up the rooom. mabbe can jio justin n co for mahjong again this sat but i gotta ask tml in case they got activities..
lookin forward to the end of tml

PS: oh, u can see the fotos of the beach outing

Yawnzzzzzzzzzzzz~!
A long day today, started the day with flag duty, then was at the track and field to help out as the time keeper. In the afternoon, initally expected to be helpin out at the seminar, but in the end, due to last minute additions for the posting plans meeting, i had to stay back with my understudy to have a rehearsal with my superior. It lasted 2.5 hrs!! I was falling asleep with the cool aircon and the boredom of having to do more preparations for a stupid 4 hrs meeting... these days i din really sleep well, even though i din wake up in the middle of the night to watch football.....sigh...dunno why i so suay....going to clear leave still gotta do so much work. todae stay back until 9plus sia...tml another long day i guess....but the good thing for todae is that i finally settled some doubts for the table tennis competition and managed to jio a female player, and surprisingly it's the new DXO in my unit, Candice...prob now is whether we really need her to play cos the last doubt yet to solve, but tml let see what our manager says.
Yesterday went SMU to pay for my confirmation deposit. Phew, finally I am settled down in SMU. Let's hope I've made the right choice and I can enjoy life in SMU....i means university life looks very interesting!! Like so many things u can choose to do...own time own target type of style...haha. then yest went Adam Rd Food Centre with Pius, Jason and Dan. Surprisingly Dan brought some buddies and also his gf lor....kaoz. even the big bookworm can find such a sporty chio gf, so muz have done alot to change his image. yeah, over the years he'd evolved from bookworm to acer in exams and now super sporty guy....haha. Then one great thing yesterday was that i got to sit in a BMW!! Shiok sia, and the thing was that Jason was driving.....haha. A bit scary ha if u think abt it, but then fret not, he's driven enough to warrant his 3 stripes.....hehz. Anyway he drove us to my home and we ended playing half a round of mahjong.....sad sia. Cos it wasn't a weekend and my parents were at home...
This week super sianz....the prelude to the hols...cos after next week i gonna chao for a few days and take a break from my work. Set the handover to be next Fri. I am determined to break away once and for all, my work, and I am not going to care how the future of Singapore Artillery will become. I had my hand in shaping its future and it's up to others to ensure our nation's artillery is the best in the world!
Sundae on duty....unfillial sia. Just becos of soccer on 15 May (my original duty date), i change to Mother's Day. Hahaha. Anyway the celebration's gonna be tomolo...heard it's Ktv at a restaurant. And that means missing the big match between United and Chelsea. Seriously I think it will be a thrashing by United. Chelsea just dunno how to play anymore cos Ranieri will want to wreck the team to tell Ambramovic that money can't really bring all the success he wants.

Mood: Jubliant but disappointed with the hotel service...miss Jinki's voice too (he's really a funni crap king). haha.
Finally back home sitting in front of the ideas with a whole ton of great news to report! Hahaha. It was a great weekend. It was a great start to the month of May.
Firstly let's talk about soccer, my favourite sport. Nothing much to report from EPL but in La Liga, Diego Tristan scored the first goal in the sinking of Real Madrid at the Riazor Stadium.....haha. Long time since I last heard him playing, not to mention scoring. Then on thu, our games day was filled with so many people for the first time. In the end it was 9vs9 in the small red clay court...woah. Haha. Pardon the showing off, but it was the first time I scored a hat trick at the court...and one assist too! However what was memorable was that so many people played and it was so much fun!
Secondly let's talk about work. Haha. Sorrieee la but work is work, and writing about work makes me think of my soon-to-come ROD...yeah! Anyway this week was a great week as Francis did a great job (albeit still with a little hiccup here and there) but now I feel more relieved with him doing the jobs. Applied for the email handover, but seems like the computer ppl were on holiday mood but never mind, to me it's like I still really can't put down all worries about my office work....
Thirdly something better to tell you, the weekend I had was fantastic! On Sat, Since TEN years ago, it was my first visit to a revamped Sentosa. It was a beach outing (finally not organised by me) and it was real fun! However the torturing part was the lack of drinking water (i din bring enough with me cos I din have a bag), and the hot hot sand! Haha. I ended up tanned RED...kaoz. And add to that, becos I pai seh of my flabs, I wore a singlet throughout, and I ended having a 'singlet' tanline! hahaha. Anyway usually I have one cos of PT singlet I wear for LIFE but this one was really very outstanding. Anyway only myself have seen it so not really so pai seh about it. hahaha. So my face and my arms and my legs are all RED.. really a good sun at the beach. The beach was, surprisingly, nicer than what I imagined. However my first dip in the sea for 10 years was unexpectedly salty...haha! Cos we were playing 'Monkey' in the seaside and the occasional splash and shouting got the water into my mouth...salty!! Apart from that, we tried a "netball frisbee" (initally was 'touch rugby frisbee, but it was too 'girlish' an idea) and also beach football...whew...frisbee is indeed a very difficult but fun sport. Veri tiring too! You could just run forward for the touch down but once the frisbee drops on the floor due to a poor pass or a poor catch, your run would be wasted...beach soccer is another demanding game...i injured a toe and my shin thru the game but nevertheless carried on becos i wanted to experience the game on sand. Woah. The hot sand kinda burnt my soles so every step I took hurt. Then in the afternoon the changing room was filled with a long long queue so the guys had a great idea. They washed themselves in the open under the shower (which you use before going into the swimming pool) in their trunks and then changed in the washroom benches. Haha. Great idea hor. Anyway my preparation wasn't adequate so I juz slipped back into the clothes I wore initially (for my beachwear i wore a singlet and those real short running shorts while i wore a polo tshirt and 3quarters over them before i set out). Then we had a long time getting back to the mainland on the bus. QY, KW, Jimmy, Kenny, Melano and me continued to Harbourfront to get a bite while the rest departed on their ways. WM was gonna meet her gf so we went our ways at Starbucks. During the meal, QY showed us a msg from Candice....WOW! But it was just a birthday wish msg... Haha. Nothing big...den during the mrt trip, only left Melano and QY and me, then QY showed us another msg from Candice but this time was askin if he used MSN and if he had an account....so Melano and I ended up teasing QY...haha. Actually QY looked veri smiley so I guess he also 'an4 shuang3' abt it...hehe. Maybe they will end up as a couple? Haha. If so then I can also write e script for this show liao. I not sure how things will end up cos QY has always maintained that he is still sceptical of BGRs.. hmmm....aniway it's time to put on the 'tabloid' mode so tomolo let see how things turn out. Haha.
Halfway during the beach outing, during the changing part, while i was waitin for the guys to get changed, Kev asked if I wanted to join them for a stay over at a hotel.....haha. Not those Hotel 81 type one but slightly classier, Conrad International. I dunno how many stars but it does look quite high class, given its location just beside Suntec City... Since it was free, why not? Somemore Jinki, and JK was joining in too! Anyway, the hotel room was very comfortable, and had a nice view covering the Suntec Area, Nicoll Highway, and Fullerton that side. The pillows were kinda too soft though, while the aircon was a dab too cold for me. Jinki spent 1/4 of the night bathin in the bath tub (kaoz, so long)...haha. We then watched a soccer match together, then when it was time to sleep, I had some hesistations... why? Cos it was a long time since I slept with anyone...haha. The last time (4mths ago) was at Jinki's home i guess, but that time it was on the ground carpet... anyway Kev tot I didn't want to sleep with Jinki so he offered to swap so instead of on the armchair i ended sleeping with JK. Hahahaha. Sorrieeeeee to JK for disturbing his sleep. I muz have had too much fun during the day and so ended up talkin while sleeping. He mentioned that I quibbed 'Kuai Hui Qu la' during my sleep...haha. I wonder why I said that...another dream mystery to think about...haha. Aniwae the next morning we had an EXPENSIVE breakfast (even with 2 complimentary breakfast, after sharing, per pax was $15+) so we ate quite alot. I was very peeved at the absence of creamer for my coffee...couldnt they see that there was NO creamer on our table when I ordered coffee? In the end I went to the cereal counter and got myself a glass of milk and you know la...haha. but as the milk was cold, it made the coffee cold so I ended up drinking milk. Buffet breakfast is great man....all the kinds of food I like, salad, hashbrowns, bread and even salmon too! So $15+ was worth it la...betta than last time the Dim Sum buffet at Mirama...After eating (2hrs at the restaurant!) we went back to the room to enjoy the comforts again...JK went for a bubble bath...ard 25mins...Jinki went for another bubble bath AGAIN...i guess ard 30mins....kaozzzzzzzzz Anyway we enjoyed the last hours of the hotel stay before we went to Penisular and Funan to look for apparel and computer equipment, only to be disappointed that Monaco's home jersey was not on sale there....well, maybe Queensway should have. In the end we spent around 3.5 hrs window shopping before departing to the mrt and went our separate ways...a really interesting outing we had.
Well...some thoughts for the events..like at the beach...so many good looking guys and gals! I am so damn jealous... haha. What to do, I keep missin all the boats I wanted to take, so now have to contend with this 'oil tanker'...then for the hotel stay...i think next time when we go overseas we ought to bring toothpaste too and not just our toothbrush...haha. makes me really wanna go to the malaysian backpacking trip now! Maybe I should go Langkawi to try out lor.... Sirong they all going Phuket but I dun think I can afford it leh....haha. Nvm.....I go JB to cool off lor (although I dun really have a good impression of JB) but i guess it's still a getaway from the hustle and bustle of singapore...hee.
I hope Liverpool will win tonight to keep their race for Champions League alive!

Jeffire
