What a great weekend!
On Sat the guys stayed at my home for football action and it was all so exciting. Arsenal continued their winning ways and I am glad I had banked my money on them....hee. Then we played some Winning Eleven. 4 persons in one team is real difficult.....somemore we all think differently in the way of playing (mine is more spanish than english) so in the end we managed to get to the world cup quarter finals only. Then we all retreated to my room and Justin was playing this Yahoo! Game called Backgammon. Din understand what it was until morning, after I woke up. I fell asleep on my bed while watching him. Charles slept on the quilt I provided and Chris slept on the wooden sofa in the living room. Haha. Muz be he din want to sleep with Charles. Justin was playing the whole time we were sleeping. I think he ought to be crowned the King of Taun. Anyway I think this will be the last of the taun as Chris is gonna depart to Taiwan...sighz. After a good breakfast at McDonalds we all departed.
Went back home and listened to Missy Elliot again but still couldn't make out all the words she rapped. But the song was really catchy. Hahaha. Then I fell asleep on my brother's stinko bed till my mum returned home. I had a date with Dan and Pius and Jason at Ponderosa Marina Square as we were celebrating Dan and Pius' birthdays. Had a really full meal! Then we went to play pool. I played averagely...at my best I hit in 3 in a row...haha.
Then we went back to Serangoon together via 133. Jason was misdirected by Dan and he alighted one bus stop earlier, so he had to walk a longer distance. It was actually more of Jason not knowing that a NEW bus stop had been erected nearer to his home....haha. Anyway the meal was so filling I think a little more walking should do him more good than harm.
Then I watched the Liverpool match in dismay. As usual Steven Gerrard did very well, but Michael Owen wasted the penalty and as a result, Liverpool lost. Portsmouth did very well to defend the Pool onslaught. My view is that they should had taken off Owen when Pongolle was called into the match to find that eluding goal. Cheyrou should have remained on the field because the French link together better! Isn't it so? Anyway I hope Michael Owen is sold to some Spanish team so that Liverpool can get a new lease of life. Their current play revolves around Owen...that's dumb.
Then I watched the Tottenham match. It was a great start when 3 goals were scored in the first 15mins. Then the fourth goal came. The 2nd half saw another 4 goals - just nice. I bought 8 goals for the this match and once again broke my personal record winning odds at $47 per dollar wagered. The previous one was $38, S League match which Home United won 5-3 i think....hehe..
A great weekend, and I hope it brings about a great midweek as the Champions League starts again! Now got Vit M so I must think of a great gift for Hiei....dunno what she would like to have...any suggestions, dear readers?
Regards
Jeff
